Disney gift card not accepted

I think the poster you quoted was referring to a rewards card from a Disney Visa, which is the redemption of points for Disney dollars. It's been a while since I've redeemed points onto a card, but the last time I did it was not a Visa gift card. It was akin to a gift card, and it could only be used at Disney and for Disney. The only difference is that it's reloadable if you want to redeem more points from your card. It's my understanding the rewards cards are treated the same way as a Disney gift card.

Ahh, I see. I didn't realize that the the rewards card is from Disney Visa would be different from the rewards cards from other Visa programs (for example ours sends a Visa giftcard when we redeem rewards). Thanks for clearing up any confusion I may have caused.
