Disney gift card for deposit?

I believe you can only use 1 and they still want a credit card #.

If you try online you can only use one giftcard for the initial deposit. If you have multiple to cover that $200 you will need to call and make your reservation. They will add both for the deposit, I guess its just the online system that can't handle 2 for the deposit. I never had to give a credit card, I'm down to my last $100 and so far have only used gift cards to pay for my trip. All other giftcards I've just added through the website. Hope this helps.

We did a $400 deposit last year over the phone with $50 gift cards. No credit card needed.

Yes, paid my deposit with GC as well as the entire trip last year, NO cc needed. Used a GC this year too, but then later needed my Disney Visa to add FD only because it was a visa discount. But the only thing is, if you book online, you can only use 1 GC to pay initial deposit-(cant use 2-100's)
