Here is the math at best Buy for buying a $100 gift card... you get 9.5% back from swagbucks and 1 - 2% back from best buy (depending on your member level) so you are talking about 10.5 - 11.5 % savings plus what you get from your credit card. However, the first $25 visa you get from swagbucks each month can be purchased for a 13% discount which brings the 9.5% up to 10.92% and the total savings 11.92 - 12.92%.

Best Buy rewards is 1%-2.5%.

I'm wondering what would happen if you bought merchandise @ Target with one of their gift cards and then tried to bring it back and exchange for Disney gift cards instead. Wonder if that's a way to circumvent the no gift cards bought with gift cards rule.
Nah, that is not a thing at any store. A store will never give you another companies gift card as your refund. Also they caught onto the cash in exchange for something bought on a gift card long ago, you’ll get a gift card or store credit back now.

I’m bummed. I was going to buy my DH the Bose Quietcomfort headphones that have been on sale everywhere for $299 with the Target Card I was going to buy today. It’s back up to $349 :crazy2: at Target. Darn. I guess I’ll still buy a gift card for use later in the year.

I do have a pair from Costco but they are the earlier version.

Isn’t the only difference between the I and the II that the II has a built-in Google Assistant button? Is that something your husband would care about? If not, I’d go with the I.

You can use that button to also adjust the noise cancellation. He would like that but I’m going to give him the Costco ones.

Two Target GC questions:

1) Are online purchases of Target GCs > Target GCs a no-go? I can’t remember if that’s allowed.

2) If I add Target GCs to my wallet in the Target app, will I have to enter the access code again for each GC when I’m actually checking out in-store? Or does adding them to your wallet make it so you won’t have to do that?

Thanks!

If it's still $299 elsewhere tomorrow you can have them price match.

Answering my own questions:

1) No, per Target’s website, online purchases of Target GCs paid for with Target GCs are not allowed.

2) You can set a “Primary” card on your Target account, and then transfer the balances from your other cards to the Primary card (just like you’d do with Disney GCs on disneygiftcard.com). That way you only have to enter the access code for the one Primary card at checkout.

For the Target 10% GC sale today (Dec. 2), does anyone know if you can buy the $300 limit under one person, then buy another GC amount under another person in the same house? It says one deal per household. I already bought the max under my account. Was going to see if I could get an extra $135 having DH buy as a guest. Anyone tried this? Thanks!

Looking to buy a Playstation 4 Pro, they run $399 - saving the 10% doesn't even cover all the tax (8.6%), lol.

Most go in-store to do that. Just check out as guest and use a different CC. WE just got back and it was not busy at all.

It is $300 per transaction. I ran it through on a couple different credit cards in case but you’ll be ok.
