Disney Gift Card Deals

Does anyone know if Bed Bath and Beyond will let you buy Disney Gift cards with Bed Bath and Beyond Gift cards?

It's very YMMV. Some have been able to and some haven't. What city are you in? That might help if someone else has bought them in that area.

Does anyone know if Bed Bath and Beyond will let you buy Disney Gift cards with Bed Bath and Beyond Gift cards?

I'm north of Houston and have been able to purchase Disney GC with BBB GC. I only do $100 at a time because I don't regularly shop at Bed Bath and Beyond. A couple of times I have had an employee tell me they're not sure if it's allowed and they need to check. I kindly with respect tell them the BBB policy is you can purchase a GC with a GC but you cannot use store credit to purchase a GC. Sometimes that's enough and sometimes they still check with a manager and the manager says the same thing.

I’m thinking if one of my 5% rotating category rewards cards ends up doing Walmart in Q4, I’ll buy a gift card and use it at sams for discounted Disney giftcards. I don’t shop at Walmart, so this would definitely be my best use of the bonus category if allowed. Thanks!

If Q4 promo is warehouses, you can buy Disney gift card at Sam's.

If there is a warehouse or Sam's 5% promo, and I don't happen to need any Disney cards, I buy a Sam's gift card, which can be used for anything. I can save 5% on all Sam's or Walmart purchases, or I can save it for when I need a Disney gift card, when there is no 5% promo.

I just used 2 Walmart GCs to buy Disney from Sam's online... which I only did because I read lots of stories about being able to do that on this thread

Both Walmart and Sam's gift cards can be used to buy Disney gift cards interchangeably.

So went to cash in my $20 (4$5) worth of Shopkicks and of course Walmart didn’t have any loadable cards and had 2 $25 left but people stole the cards out of them. They had a bunch of $50s though but I was in a rush. I have $50 in Walmart gift cards from Swagbucks as well and haven’t added them to my Apple wallet.

I reallly don’t know why I chose Walmart. I should’ve chose Target. Oh well I guess I’ll go to another Walmart. Wish I could trade them but the ones from Shopkicks are untradable. I only need $50 more for enough for a Disneyland 3 day ticket.

According to this article from Komo News, these 5 and their Target gift card scheme are the reason Target changed the policy to include the pin. Given how they did it, it doesn't surprise me this was added. It also explains how some people would have had their cards drained whether they were in the app or not.

I'm in Houston too and I have so much trouble with BBB. Glad to hear it works for you!

More specifically, I'm in Conroe. I've also learned at my store older women work in the morning they have never given me any question or problems. In the afternoon, young college kids work and that's is always when I'm questioned and it takes me twice as long to check out.

Just got a 20% cashback offer up to $100 for Home Depot from WF and I don’t see a gift card exclusion. Do they sell $500 Visa or Mastercard gift cards? I would love to get a $505.95 gift card, $100 cash back and buy discounted Disney and flight gift cards with that. I could save about $150-$200 on my flight. Knowing my luck my Home Depot will have up to $200 gift cards with $6.95 fee. It makes no sense why the $200 activation fee is more than the $500.

Last night I decided I'm going to sell my Best Buy GCs. I ended up with $125 from Swagbucks and then $156.65 I bought from Raise for $148.82 (literally 2 days before things changed thinking I'd flip them with the sb deal). Then I realized that I've been carrying around this REI card for forever, so I'm going to sell that too! We just never shop there and DH got this GC as a gift before we moved in together - which was 4 years ago! So hey, extra $20ish for the travel fund

Yes. You can't get an open loop (V/MC) GC with a store GC. I'm not sure anywhere that would allow that. For Target, those and iTunes seem to be the only restrictions.

Kinda wondered if you could pay the fee with a store gift card, but the value of the card itself for sure is excluded.

They caught them!!! Everyone KNEW something was screwy a couple years back. Sounds like they got greedy enough Target was motivated to hunt them down, $800K- wow!
