Several months ago there was a similar offer, and I needed the e-gift card quickly. When it didn't arrive in a reasonable amount of time, I called staples, and they said that they needed to verify the email address, as I didn't regularly purchase things from their website. Once I did this, I believe I still had to wait a day for it to arrive.

Sorry for the confusion my Target card hasn't arrived, I was waiting on the notice from Amex that the offer was used. I'm still "processing" as well.

Still waiting on my Target eGift card too, but my Staples confirmation email states, "Your eGift Card will be sent to your email address in less than 1 business day." I also had to enter a physical address, but my email address is attached to the order.

I'm hoping to be able to use the Target egift card I buy from Staples to buy a discounted Target gift card during Target's December 4 sale and then use that gift card to buy a Disney gift card.

Can you use your Target Red card to purchase target gift cards on Dec 4th? You'd get an extra 5% off, right?!

You can use your Redcard but there is no additional discount since the Redcard 5% does not apply to Target GC's.

Is everyone pretty sure you can use a Target e-gift card to buy a physical Target card in the store? I have the offer on several Amex cards and was planning to just buy Disney physical cards at Staples ( and suffer the $1.99 shipping fee). TIA.

No if the promotion is the same as previous years the gift cards are not immediately activated like a regular gift card-they were not active until the following day

I know many have reported yes, you can but like you - I had on several cards (3) so I did two Disney gift cards and just paid the $1.99 fee, then one Target e-gift card likely to be used towards my DS' GoPro for Xmas. Figured it was still an awesome deal either way

It is a sale where Target gift cards are 10% off. Since, at the moment, you can use a Target gift card to but another Target gift card, this is a nice savings.
