Disney Gift Card Deals

I'm a little slow. How can I tell if I have a balance without buying anything?
You will need to put something in your cart (a Buy It Now purchase) and then go to checkout. Near the bottom of the page, it will ask for promo codes, gift cards, etc, and it will show any gift cards that are still open. In my case, I had used a gift card previously, but there was 5 cents left over, and ebay retained that info.

Once you find out, you can remove the item from your cart, if you don't want it.

And don't knock yourself. Ebay purposely does not make this easy.

Me too. I have some ebay gift cards and some Gamestop Gift cards. *sigh* At least I'll eventually use the eBay ones.
I have used Gamestop cards to buy Southwest, so it wasn't a total loss for me. Also, there are times where you can buy games at Gamestop and resell them to Best Buy at a profit, but I haven't seen anything recently. If neither of these things look good to you, go to a Gamestop, and see what cards they have that look good to you. (Amazon and ebay are not options. :( )

THANKS! I have $153 left over (meant for churning to Disney gift cards *sigh*)

I thought that Gamestop wouldn't allow you to but any gift cards with a gift card. Is it just eBay and Amazon they don't allow now?

My coupon disappeared after I bought a $100 visa. I think it's an either/or coupon.

I used my $100 visa to buy a $100 Amex today. Tomorrow I'll use that to buy a target gift card. 1248 fuel points plus $100 gift card for $89 out of pocket!

Ok, I'm too new... Do you mind sharing the math? I can't figure it out. :confused3

Yes. It's rough but the visa and Amex gift cards each cost $96 and I got $3 back from Amex for using it to buy the visa gift card (maxed out grocery spending on my blue preferred already). Then 424 fuel points for the visa, 424 for the Amex and 400 for the target gift card.

That's what it was when I exchanged my Gamestop cards back in August (only Amazon and ebay prohibited), and I bought a Southwest card. It's pretty much YMMV as to what the individual stores allow, but my experience is most common.
You can try telling them that you received the cards as a gift, but that you don't have a child old enough to use any gaming boxes, and ask what they recommend.

Can someone explain to me why someone pays more than the face value of the Disney gift card on EBay ? This is the rule not the exception.

I'm in Northern NJ and our Stop and Shop is running a promo. Buy $100 gift card, get $20 off your next purchase. Of course you can't use the coupon on gift cards, but I'm buying groceries anyway. With my 6% Amex rewards at grocery stores, it's a nice discount. Goes until Dec 1. Yesterday I bought a $100 Disney card, then used the $20 off on my weekly groceries. I may go buy more and split my groceries over the next few weeks to take advantage.

Is there a minimum purchase when you go to use the $20 off?

Apologies if this has already been mentioned. Has anyone been able to purchase Disney gift cards at Best Buy recently using a Best Buy egift card? I get Best Buy egift cards from doing eRewards surveys. I've been cashing out for a Best Buy $25 egift card every 3 months, since you can only redeem once per quarter. I've never had a problem purchasing a Disney gift card in the past, but today when I tried it I was accused of money laundering!!! I asked for a manager and she wouldn't budge either. When I said I'd done it in the past, she claimed that those Best Buy employees were acting illegally. I'm planning to try again at another Best Buy, but in the meantime just wondering if anyone else out there has experienced this.

Best Buy has always been YMMV. The system allows it, but individual employees and managers will vary. Try another store.

Check or tweet Amex offers for a $20 statement credit when you spend $100+ at Staples .com.

Enrollment is limited. Online only, not in stores. Staples branded eGift cards are excluded, but Staples .com sells physical gift cards, including $100 Disney cards with a $1.99 shipping fee.

ETA: I'll wait for a few more data points before biting, because Staples .com does also sell Target and Southwest via email delivery, but I'm not sure they qualify because iirc Staples' eGift cards are processed through cashstar, which might not trigger the Amex offer.

ETA: Third-party eGift cards (including Target) qualify for this deal.

Last time target egift cards worked but I'll wait for data points as well:)

Thank you for posting this! I had the offer as well. I had been debating on the Best Buy offer because $250 is quite a bit for me to have to try to budget right before the holidays, but this I can manage. :)
