Good news/bad news - I just checked my ebay accts and found nothing left over for me. I guess I was too meticulous in maintaining my spreadsheets to let any pennies slip through.

I have a Discover card that I almost forgot I had, but I noticed that they'll offer 5% off at wholesale clubs in the next quarter (I'm a BJ's member). Can someone confirm that I can purchase Disney gift cards there and take advantage of this offer? It would be 5% off the discounted $94.99 cost for the $100 gift cards. It doesn't quite match the Raise/Redcard strategy I used for our last trip which gave me a 13% discount but it's not bad. I believe there's a limit of $1500 but it I could stock up for our trip next November.

FYI - just got an email from Plenti that they are doing 2% back at Best Buy. Nice if you can combine with the Amex offer and get your gift cards online.

I promised to update once I went to Bestbuy and took advantage of the Amex spend $250 get a $25 statement credit. As the other posters before me mentioned, before we even left the store I already had my instant alert from Amex thanking me for using the offer. I was billed on the 9th and received my statement credit on the 10th. Worked perfectly. We did the loadable Disney gift card and just had the cashier put $250 on it. Easy peasy.

My Krogers are doing 4x rewards this weekend. I took the 3 $100 Visas I had bought last promo and bought $100 visa and $100 Amex with the $10 off ($95.95 each) and a $100 Disney in 3 separate transactions. I did try to do another Visa but the discount didn't work so those were truly 1x only. Got 4x fuel point on all of it. For this round I didn't put in any oop.

My pin didn't work on my first card. I had in my hand both my cc and my gc. I decided to roll the dice and ran it as a cc and went thru fine. They asked for my ID but not the card so I gave them my ID and no difficulties. I then did the same at a different cashier and at the self checkout. The second cashier asked for my ID and the card. I have them my cc and ID (not the gc I had just swiped). They didn't notice. I'd prefer not to be showing my ID every time so I need to figure out that pin situation. When I went onto the Visa gc site it didn't give me a way to change the pin but there was a pin in the package I tried which did not work.

I'm going back tomorrow to buy gc for regular spending like restaurants for the Month and getting some Xmas gc. I'm trying to decide if I should use the Amex and Visa and go ahead and convert to Disney or hold them for whenever an Amex or Visa sale comes up again. I think they are great to churn over when there's a $ off that pays the service charge and nets you a couple bucks. I've got $8.10 let from my Visas I used today and will take those with me to Target to add to my target gc for a larger Disney one.

Does anyone Know if that Kroger Visa/MC coupon can be used once on a visa and once on a MC?

I had some success in June at one of the K-Marts in the Kenosha area.

I tried to buy ten (10) $150 Disney gift cards (packs of three (3) $50 Disney gift cards). The manager said they can only sell gift cards paid for by cash. That was the only thing I was trying to buy. I probably set off red flags for trying to purchase that many gift cards, and without buying anything else.
Also, in store, there were 4 pegs for the 3-pack of Disney gift cards. Two said $143.xx, and two said $142.xx. (Sorry, I don't remember the cents amounts.) I could not see a difference in the barcodes between any, so I'm not sure what exactly the current price is.

Apparently ebay started listing partially used ebay gift card balances at checkout (read it on Doctor of Credit). To see if you have any balances on old forgotten ebay cards, just add something to your cart and any old cards and their balances will appear for you to use as payment on the checkout screen. I was able to find almost $400 that I did not know about, the timing is perfect for the holidays.

I'm a little slow. How can I tell if I have a balance without buying anything?

No but I looked at the website on the "pre Black Friday sale" page. It does show multiple gift cards discounted but Disney is not one as suspected. It is the ones that were pictured in the ad. Also the 30% off applies to the full gift card value (not the normal selling price at Sam's). So if a $50 gift card was normally sold at Sam's club for $40 today it is $35. Since Disney gift cards are only slightly discounted normally (not 20% off like the ones included in this sale) I can't imagine them offering them for 30% off today
