Disney Gift Card Deals

No Kroger here. They do carry them at our Giant Eagle but no way to cash out through the eBay gc churn.

Thanks everyone for the cardency Kmart tip-had ebucks I still needed to cash in so that worked out well (svm $85 sears cards would have been even better but who knows if they will run that deal again before ebucks expire). Between ebucks and the PayPal credit I got for shopping in June online I got $250 with hardly any out of pocket costs.

did anyone else take advantage of the amazon deal a few weeks back where you bought a $50 gift card and got a free $10 credit? I did and I think they screwed up along the same lines as the game stop one where some people were getting $140 on their $100 CG. I just checked my CG balance and there was actually $30 not $10.

The $10 promotion credit would not show up under "gift card balance" on amazon. It only shows up when you go to checkout with a qualifying item. That $30 extra in gift card balance may be due to the Prime Day $30 off $150 coupon fiasco that Amazon tried to rectify the next day by giving members $30 in gift card balance automatically applied to their account if they had tried to use it on Prime Day but were unable to. I think that is a more likely explanation. :)

Are you sure you need the "eBay gc churn" if you have access to the GE fuel perks program? Utilizing double fuel perks, 30 gallons of gas, and a 6% cash back Amex card, I calculate the savings at about 30% with minimal effort. The eBay gc churn can definitely supplement that savings, but optimally using the GE fuel perks program is pretty hard to beat.

oh ok, that makes a little more sense, and even better considering, I never did go back and use the visa promotion. woohoo $30 free money, now where to spend it.

Mine's already spent! :) I've used it towards an egg incubator for my duck and chicken eggs. Not quite Disney related...

I did use the $10 promotional credit towards packing cubes that will be used for Disney though!

Which Amex gives 6%? I mostly use Chase Freedom but am not opposed to a new card.

Ok, So am I missing something? I have been away for a few months and finally got back. Are Ebay cards not available from Target.com anymore??? I can't find any. If not, how are you churning? I don't have many store chains close by.

The Target > Ebay > Target churn is dead. Seems like they caught on as eBates hasn't even been crediting for the Target purchases.

I've been doing Gamestop > Ebay > Gamestop but that loophole is slowing coming to an end as the POS systems have been denying people in certain cities and Gamestop has been a bit stricter with GC > GC purchases.

As @wendow stated, the Amex Blue Cash Preferred gives 6% cash back at grocery stores up to $6K max per year. There is an annual fee, but it's more than offset by the Amex offers each year. Your Freedom card is good too for the 5% during the grocery store quarter and the gas station quarter for GetGo for a total of $3K for those quarters combined. It all depends on your desired spend and ability to get double fuel perks offers during those quarters.

I would like to look into the Amex Blue Cash card. Any chance you have a referral code? I always like to pass along a thanks to whomever saves me money, if I can!

Not allowed on Disboards. Maybe ask on Facebook if any friends have it.

So I traded in my DH's PS4 and his games. Came to $236.The girl was totally cool with using the credit for a GC purchase so while she was testing it I strolled on over to the giftcard rack--no eBay, or anything else I could potentially churn :worried:. Nothing but restaurants, gaming subscriptions, and other dead-ends. She said she doesn't recall ever seeing an eBay gift card in the store. Then again I think she has freely taken advantage of Washington states new legal marijuana laws :teeth:. Sweet girl but certainly not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Anwyay I ended up just taking cash for the trade in. It lost me about 5$ doing it that way but it was still better to me than having that much in store credit.

Also, do a search to find the best offer out there. I found a site that had a specific link that gave about $100 more than the offer that came in the mail. Of course, it goes without saying that you have to be careful what you click through. But, it was a legit offer at the time (about 6 mos. ago).

I saw that picture on FB too. I thought she was nuts for purchasing such a large amount like that in one day and not shipping it via UPS requiring a signature for delivery. I suspect we will be seeing a post that she was banned from purchasing online.

Just catching up after being on vacation . . .

For those out there looking for best credit card offers, Frequent Miler has a good list that he keeps up to date. Just google "frequent miler best credit card offers."

@havaneselover - I also thought you could only deduct .10 off gas at Shell stations. I may try again since others report being able to use the full gallon off. Will report back. I will say though, that I've been getting gas at Kroger for what feels like forever, and my 2005 minivan has lasted 260K+ miles! :-)

I also have an Amex offer for Sheetz (spend $10 get $5 statement credit - use 2x). I know they carry 3rd party gift cards, but I'm not sure which ones. Will report back.

Finally, I received an email from Kroger today for a 4x fuel points downloadable coupon (good till 7/27 I believe). It looks to me like you can only use it once though. I'm hoping for another "back to school" 4x promo in August.

It was nice to get away for a week. Kinda bummed to be back home.

.

I don't see the coupon on my Kroger app, but I'm hopeful now! Been waiting for one of these! Even if it is just one use, that would be great!
