I'm in PA (South Central). I successfully converted some GS to Ebay at 2 different stores on Friday and Saturday. It is def YMMV because DH tried at the GS near him and was denied by the cashier. She didn't even let him try to swipe. I think they might be a different region or franchise because I had no problems at the 2 stores closer to home.Sure no problem, I'm in VA.

Good luck getting them converted!
Is it possible to just cancel the order?I ordered one $100 gift card Sunday and it's delayed until August! This stuff is so random.
Yes. It's a pain since it's 15 items (so I'd have to reorder all of those) but that probably makes sense. Is it possible to just cancel the order?
I wonder if I go to a GameStop further away if it'll work or not. I currently have $500 in GameStop and another $500 on the way from the cardency deal. Worst case scenario is I sell them for a discount.
Yeah I plan to cash out one way or another and be done with it.It can't hurt to try. It seems to be very random, but I do think it is coming to an end sooner rather than later. I'll probably cash out the ones I bought the other day for eBay and somehow try to get them converted to Disney. Good luck!

A few pages ago, someone reported success at GC>GC transactions at Walgreen's. Since I've only been here a few months, I could be wrong, but I think it was agreed that this method was closed off a while ago. So, I decided to utilize the "Contact Us" button on Walgreen's website and ask about using Walgreen's Gift Cards to purchase Disney. There is one about 15 minutes from me, and no other ones for about 45 min. The website says they don't carry Disney, so I wouldn't be able to use it, but others might want to hear what the company itself says. I've copied and pasted their response, which just was sent to me:

Dear _____________,
Thank you for taking your time to contact our Corporate Offices. We appreciate hearing from our customers and value all comments received. You are able to purchase other retail gift cards such as the Disney gift card you mentioned with a Walgreen's gift cards. I do want to clarify if the card is an in-store credit those types of cards are not able to be used for the purchase of retail gift cards but as long as it is a Walgreens gift card you are able to use it to purchase other retail gift cards.
Again, thank you for contacting our corporate office. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your comments.
Sincerely,
Rebecca C.

I may do this. I have $100 worth of eBay bucks.I just bought a Walgreens card with my ebucks this morning to try it out. I'm heartened by this!!
For those of you who haven't had success at GS, were you using your member rewards number in conjunction with the purchase? I am always wary of providing them with my number and have only done so three times or so. I think maybe I won't be giving out my rewards number now. Also, anyone have any luck in the Chicagoland area recently? Thanks!!
