Disney Gift Card Deals

I can confirm that the Amex 5% CB at BJs can be used multiple times, the second statement credit hit my account this morning. I plan to max out this benefit over the next few months ($2k spending limit)

My Staples $25 CB hit my account this morning too :yay:
Can you explain how you found this bonus CB offer? I have a Blue Cash Everyday card and it says only 3% at supermarkets, which BJ's is excluded from anyway. I would love 5% CB at BJ's! I don't get the Ebucks offers so this would be a great alternative for me.

Just got an email starting that Paypal is updating their User Agreement. The amended User Agreement will be effective as to all PayPal users on June 25, 2016.
it means ebay will not help you if you sell a gift card and the buyer claims they didnt get it or didnt authorize the transaction.

...but aren't we the buyers? not the sellers?

EDIT: I guess I can't read today, hah.

I have the bonus bucks offer on my app, but not on the desktop version. On my App it's on the featured tab - under today's deals - 3rd one down it's a pic of a girl on a bike that says Bucks Booster Earn up to 8% in eBay bucks AND it has a countdown clock that is counting down 1 day 14 hours. So YAY because I've only gotten 1 offer since I started this in early March. Clicked on it and it takes me to a page that says Bucks Booster with icons of some things either in my cart or watch list. So I clicked on the Target card, ordered 5 $150 cards and checked out using all my ebay gift cards. Worked wonderfully.

HOWEVER, then I logged in to the desk top version and see that I was only credited $15 ebay bucks for my purchase. I contacted ebay support and they had me hold quite awhile while they checked and came back to say that I didn't get the promotion and didn't qualify for the 8% bonus offer today. Whhaaaat? Why is it on my app? It definitely wasn't there before. So after some back and forth with the ebay agent, and reading word for word from the app, and offering to take a screen shot of the offer, she reluctantly agreed to credit the remaining ebay bucks as a 1 time courtesy.

It's bizarre that it is on my app if I didn't qualify for it.. anyone else not have it on their desktop, but have it on their app?
This sort of happened to me in March. I didn't get the banner or a message, but when I went to the gift card section on Ebay, I saw a little widget that said to earn 5x Ebucks. There was no way to "activate" the offer, and when I made the purchase, it only showed the regular Ebucks amount. But I took a screenshot and called ebay support and they did eventually give it to me, which was great! But, I still have yet to receive a legit offer. :(

Excuse me for really not knowing, but what does this mean for us/the sellers?

I'm not really sure what this means, honestly. I am not a seller of gift cards, but undoubtedly Paypal is doing this for a reason. I just thought it was something we should all be aware of as it might have some consequences for our churning.

Log into your AMEX account and look for "special offers" at the bottom of the page.

Question for the knowledgeable disboards community: I purchase a couple thousand GC's using Target GC's from Target.com every month, the churning is great, but another benefit for me is meeting some minimum spends on new airline CC's. I don't want my account to get shutdown, so I am going to use my redcard directly to purchase merch and GC's. But I still need to hit my minimum spends, so here (finally) is my question: Can I pay my target redcard balance with a money order (that I got from a pin-enabled Visa GC that I purchased with airline card) in store? I do the money order process with other cards, I just haven't been able to find anything about doing it at target.

OT but I just ordered 2 sets of Shari's Berries for Mother's Day via Groupon (9% cash back on Ebates for Groupon, 10% for SB website). Total $142.63, I paid $102.30 & will get $9.86 cash back. Pricey but a good savings if anyone is/was buying some anyways.

(Sorry for the fluff that adds to the thread lol)

Kroger is offering 4X points on gift cards this weekend (May 6, 7, and 8). They are also offering 2X points every weekend until July 31 with a one time coupon.

For me, the Gamestop flip is not worth the hassle of going through PPDG and having my account locked. Knowing my luck, it'll lock during an ebay bucks promo and I won't be able to flip period. I've also seen peoples account get locked for good once it locks too many times, so buyer beware.

Anyway there are some really good trade in flips to Gamestop from Redbox if you have the time and patience. Yes, Redbox SELLS games you can purchase at the kiosks and flip back to trade in credit at Gamestop. The problem is that they still have that annoying sticker around the ring that you will have peel off. I usually do it no problem with a razor very very carefully. Other people do it no problem with a blow-drier and it just peels right off. People also just trade it in with the sticker on it. The problem with this is that it'll draw heat on you with the sticker on it and there is a possibility they will deny your trade even though there is no policy on it. You will also have to drive around from redbox to redbox buying the games. Inventory is highly YMMV, and you might get cases where people scam the discs from the redox. Not all redbox kiosks sell games.

Here are the good flips/trade in credit is expected to change tomorrow:

Witcher 3: Wild Hunt PS4/Xbox One - $8.99 @ Redbox > $24.75 PS4/$14.30 Xbox One GS Credit

Spongebob Heropants X360 - $5.99 @ Redbox > $13.75 GS Credit

Payday 2: Crimewave Edition Xbox One/PS4 - $5.99 @ Redbox > $13.75 GS Credit

Halo: The Master Chief Collection Xbox One - $8.99 @ Redbox > $19.25 GS Credit

God of War 3: Remastered PS4 - $8.99 @ Redbox > $13.75 GS Credit

Final Fantasy X/X2 PS4 > $8.99 @ Redbox > $16.50 GS Credit

Until Dawn PS4 - $18.99 @ Redbox > $24.75 GS Credit

I'm curious, where are you finding the prices they sell for at Redbox? I'm interested in trying this out with the funds I have going into my PayPal and maybe cutting Target out for those funds (Paypal>games>ebay card at GS>best Buy>Disney). We have a few Disc Replays by us as well that I could see about buying/ selling to.

I just ordered flowers for my mom and DH's mom through 1800Flowers (they deliver in Canada for no extra cost for DH's mom). There is a $15 Amex credit, 22% on eBates and a 25% promo code, so once all was done, I paid about $83 for what would have cost $175 with no discounts. I got the "largest" option for the bouquet and it comes with the vase. I consider that a good deal.

There is another forum I can't link to that has the prices. It's currently a sale until the 8th at Redbox and the values have tanked at Gamestop today, so it's not really a reliable way to churn. You won't have the same steady profit like Target. Everything is usually a same day trade to get the best profit as values tank the next day.

With OOP for me, I have been buying games on sale and trading them at Gamestop when the trade in value is higher than the price I bought it for. Gamestop has been having 20% more TIV for preordering certain games as well. Even though I don't want said game, I'll preorder it with it being paid off, picking it up, and returning it at another Gamestop for the credit back on the trade in card. I've been having really good luck at Pawnshops as the one I frequent has some pretty recent games I'll negotiate a good deal on.

All the trade in values are on the Gamestop app, so that is a really good resource to have.

I saw that on the App when I was checking it out.

My husband's a gamer. I used to game, but haven't since we had our children. While I sometimes follow what's current I haven't done it anywhere near as much as I used to. We have several Gamestops/Redboxes in our area though so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try. If anything it's less money for me to churn thru Target.

I paid Target cc w/ Visa gc last week. I didn't tell them it was a gc and they didn't ask.

I saw that too, can you explain what this means going forward? I guess I don't really know what the Seller Protection is, so I am unclear on how this affects us.
Excuse me for really not knowing, but what does this mean for us/the sellers?
From what I took from it and from what I've experienced when calling CS, is that it was the supposed "seller protection/security" that was locking us out from our accounts from ordering PPDG cards and having us to verify our accounts a million times before ordering. I might be wrong, but it seems like they might either be modifying the system to prevent it from happening again.
Hmm, me neither, no idea if this is good or bad for us? Also wondering then, if this mean it'll be easier to buy from PPDG. That would be nice because right now I can buy any GS cards or Ebay cards from them.

Interesting, so you were able to use the Visa gift card as a debit card at Target for bill payment? I have a $100 one on hand, I will try it tonight, thanks :)

I know people had asked about the reliability of iconsumer for cashback. I just got an e-mail from them that they mailed me a check for my posted cashback through April 30 (it takes ~90 days to post), and they are working on getting paypal and ach set up. It probably won't come before I leave for Disney Sunday, but it seems like a good sign.

If anyone would be so kind... what does the subject line look like for an email from PPDG? I still haven't received mine, but I'm on the hunt in my inbox to see if I missed it (bought it 1 week ago).
