Omg yes! Thank you a ton Lain and Badapple! I felt like I was never going to click on the right post.

Man. That is where I stored all my giftcards and it updated in "real time". Anyone could have drained over $1400 in gcs :crazy2:. Thank goodness it didn't fall into the wrong hands. I'm also glad I got the email in the first place. :grouphug:.
I have more questions than answers with Google docs. So does anyone with a link have access to your documents? I want to try and repost the spreadsheet so other can use it if they want. Just maybe not my personal copy. Ha!

You'll want to make a copy of your spreadsheet first and remove all of your data, then follow these directions. This forces the user to make a copy of the spreadsheet. If they don't everyone that clicks the link would be editing the same document.

Maybe she slipped through the cracks? And someone at Target caught on and finally put a stop to it? I'm not sure.

All I'm saying is we really don't know but that gift card resellers as THEE indicator of bannings is not entirely accurate being as one reported of never using them.
Right but almost all other data points involved gift cards purchased from resellers. I too wouldn't use them. Too many stories on here about issues with them. But I'm lucky because I buy gift cards at Kroger and save about 14% when they run 4x fuel points so it wouldn't make sense to use a reseller.

The discounts at the resellers have been terrible lately, anyway. Every time I check in on Raise, Target cards are at 1-2% off. I have to wonder if it's all due to people trying to save on their Disney vacations using the "Raise" method that I've seen posted pretty much everywhere.

Yesterday I got Target gift card at 4% off. Today it is back to 1%

Expressing my thanks to everyone.

I'm taking my 2 girls to Disney at the end of May/early June timeframe. Between cash back on my Discover card, eBay coupons, eBay cash back promos, and Target redbird discounts I'm extremely happy with things. There's not enough time to milk much more out of it with April likely being a slow promo period but I'm still happy with what I'm getting for not starting until end of February. You guys/gals are awesome.

I check and mine are there, say they expire 5/2 :)

I will probably be buying full price gift cards on 5/2 because I didn't get a bonus offer

I thought I would circumvent the chance of not getting an bonus offer due having a lot of eBay bucks by doing a Gamestop flip today. Yes it's only 10 eBay bucks today (and 10 in GS rewards) but figured my eBay bucks would be down to zero and I'd just have another $500 eBay card (and the nearest GS is only 4 min from my house). Paypal didn't like my plan though lol. After going through the phone verification loop 3 times I got locked out altogether. I had to call. The rep was very helpful and assured me all limits were taken care but offered to stay on the line while I tried again for it to go through (after changing my password and security questions, etc.).

It still didn't work after numerous attempts to the point where even the rep was stumped. She was getting to the point of blaming it on eBay (something many of us here have reported before) and I thought Oh boy now I'm going to become a victim of the loop. Instead she put me on a long hold to talk to her boss and came back and basically pointed out how many digital gift cards I've purchased in the past 2 weeks, coupled with the fact that this one was for $500 (and one last week that worked without a hiccup), caused a risk assessment to be triggered. She said it didn't have to do with limits (I know the $1000 per rolling 30 days is gone, I did over $2200 myself in the past 2 weeks) but more with the purchases being for e-cards and high dollar amounts.

Anyway long story short, her advice to me and my advice to people on here is just run $200 at time versus larger amounts. She said the higher dollar amount transactions most certainly trigger their system, and at a much higher rate than multiple, smaller transactions, even if they are for the same e-cards.

Is the $1000/30-days limit for digital gift cards really gone? There was a lot of discussion about limits for PayPal Digital Gifts this past week, and I think a lot of us are under the impression that the $1000 per rolling 30 days limit is still in effect.

I see them from 4-5% off several times a day. I personally don't think there's a large enough sample size to say buying from resellers will get you banned, but some aren't comfortable with it any longer. I am, however, I do choose to bypass the Target rebate though ebates for similar reasons, while others are comfortable with it. I've stopped buying Target cards from Raise simply because the GS discount is double, so have been getting those and turning them into Ebay instead.

Our situation is exactly the same. We started in late-Feb for a late-May/early June trip. We are now about $1,800 above what we've paid out, so I'm very happy with it.

We had a lot of problems during the last promo after making a $600 and $400 GS purchase. Not with those transactions, but with our next transactions through GCM. Its worked out now and wasn't actually on my account (it was my moms), but I will definitely purchase in small amounts when buying from PPDG in the future. One thing PP did tell us is that one of my moms $750 GCM purchases (prior to the PPDG GS purchase) was flagged as potentially fraudulent because "$750 is a lot to spend on GCs" is what the rep said the note attached to it said. I thought that was super weird, since I and many others have purchased that much and sometimes more, but that's what they said. I honestly don't know if it was that or the large PPDG purchases that caused her problems, but it seems it was some kind of temporary hold that I've never seen implemented before.

In my experience, yes. In the past 30 days I've bought over $3000 from PayPal digital gifts on eBay. Last week, however, after buying 2 of the $100 Stubhub offers they had, 2 of the TGI Friday offers they had, and $500 worth of Gamestop, I tried to add to buy a $50 Texas Roadhouse card, and it couldn't even get it into my cart and got the error message "you've won the most auctions and/or bought you're limit from this seller in the past 10 days" message. 2 days later, I was able to buy a couple $50 restaurant cards without a hitch. Today, I was trying to buy $500 in Gamestop cards in one transaction and went through the "verification loop" 3 times before it finally locked up my PayPal.

There is a link like 10 or so pages ago in this thread to a Dr of Credit report on the lifting. I think the key based on my experience today is just to not do such a high amount at once.

I find that funny only because today the rep said basically the same to me: "$500 is a lot to spend on a digital gift card" Lol.

I've found that Target GCs on Raise are always at their lowest discounts on weekends. This last week they didn't often get above 4.5%, though. I only got a handful of notifications for discounts of or over 6%.

I got the "you've won the most auctions and/or bought you're limit from this seller in the past 10 days" message on Mar 8 after buying $450 in best buy cards. I had gotten a $50 xbox card for my DS on Feb 25, and that was all my transactions. I tried again for another $100 best buy card on March 13 and it went through, as well as a $100 sears card for $85 2 days later. I'm currently at $1060 for my 30 days. I wouldn't hesitate to try again if they had discounted cards I wanted :teeth:

I bought Ebay gift cards on Target.com today for the first time. I paid using the Target cards I bought on Ebay through GCM. I received 2 emails at the exact same time saying my gift cards were ready. When I went to print them out, they have the exact same ID number on them. I have waited to see if maybe I would get another email with the other card but I have gotten an email saying that both have "shipped" and the one item I added hasn't shipped. I am assuming you guys get different numbers on each card you purchase?

The item number will be the same but when you look at the printed page there should be a voucher number , 13 digits that should be different for each seperate card.

A lot of times, I have to scroll down the page to see the link to the 2nd/3rd card

The virtual gift card ID number is the same on each when printed. That's the only number on the page. It says after gift code delivery, allow up to 4 hours before redeeming for PayPal. If I enter the virtual gift card ID on PayPal, will they both show up? I'm thinking no.

hmmmm. Are you sure you didn't print out the same one twice? They will be sent together most likely but seperate "buttons" you'll have to hit to open.
