Disney Gift Card Deals

Looking for advice from you guys for the next ebay extra bucks promo. I started in early March and only churned through one extra bucks promo so far. Assuming the next promo is good for two days, how do you guys that have lots of funds churn through the most while obviously abiding by Target limits on numbers of cards ordered at once as well as eBays shipping charges?

I currently have $2200 in Ebay and $2150 in Target (the rest of my funds are already in Disney) and then $500 ebucks reward. My only plan for maximizing is to get GS first, before I start buying Target. I don't know if I have any kind of PPDG soft limit, so I'm going to have to test the waters $200 at a time and see how much I can get. I have at least a handful of GS I can hit to switch them back to eBay. I really want to get my full ebucks reward by the time we leave mid-May, since I don't want to be doing this on vacation and the ebucks period will be nearly over by the time we get back. But I honestly don't know how much one can realistically churn through each promo. We did get my mom $340 ebucks during the last 2-day 5x promo, but it did cause issues with her PP account for about 24 hours. We did that by buying $1k in GS in two orders and $1400 in Target in three orders.

I begin converting my Target to ebay as soon as they arrive in the mail. So, once the new ebucks promo begins, I am ready to go. Not sure what you are asking about the shipping charges? It makes sense to buy as much at once as you can and to stick to one denomination.

The eBay bucks certificate won't be subject to the $1,000 gift card limit on eBay purchases, correct? We should be able to use $1,000 in gift cards IN ADDITION TO the certificate, right? Just trying to think through this next purchase. TIA!

Yep, I think the limit is going to be 6 $150s if you're paying with ebay GCs.

I know this is posted somewhere on the thread, but I couldn't find it.

Anyway, what is the cutoff where they deliver your Target gift cards ordered from ebay without signature? I had my first orders (which were $600 each) just delivered usps and put in my mailbox. This last time I ordered $1,000 and they are being delivered ups and I'm going to have to go pick them up because we are never home to sign for them when they come by. I'll be able to get them, but it's about a 30 minute drive that I'm going to have to make to get them, so not exactly convenient.

That is exactly what I do. This last sale I did two $900 orders and one $600 order. Because I have $1000 in ebucks to be paid out this month, I will add another $900 order.

$750 and up travels UPS, iirc.

$750+ requires signature

there is a option where you can presign the order, but than they will leave it infront of your door.

I received my Target GC's Saturday so converted them to ebay GCs' with a couple of other things I needed on Target.com through Ebates. By the time I got to the final payment step the Target site made me sign back in, which I did and the transaction went through. I didn't think of re-linking through Ebates until after the fact. I'm probably not going to get credit from Ebates for this purchase, correct?

As long as you did not close the page, I would think you would get your ebates credit. I guess it might depend on how long between when you clicked through from ebates and checked out at Target but I am betting it allows for someone to take their time shopping.

I actually get everything loaded to my cart and then go to ebates, click through and immediately check out.

I do the opposite. I once tried to file a claim that was in fact legitimate and not against any terms and conditions. Except one I didn't know about: already having items in my cart. Ebates response for not crediting me was that I had to go through their portal with an empty cart. So now I go to the site, clear my cart and THEN start at Ebates.

...But, multiple orders in a day, several times, does look a lot more like a reseller than a single order every few days....
Yes, several orders in a day, several times would look not too great. I guess I did several orders in a day one promo, but have since tried hard to have my cards set and ready to go for the next promo. Usually, I'm placing an order a day for a few days. I did like adding in GS to get away from Target, may add a few in store purchases.

I got both of my 3/29 SVM gifts orders of sears/kmart cards yesterday in the the mail....
If you don't mind me asking, how do you use your Sears and KMart in your churns? Can you buy gc's there with the gc's, and what kind? No Kmart close, maybe 30-40 min away, Sears is a small like appliance store here, have to travel a bit with that, too. So wondering how good it works for you, are you just lucky that your stores take the cards as payment or is that normal?

@jaccceee Interesting to see that shopping thru RR's! I saw they had Target, Kmart, Sears, and even Gamestop! But, says it doesn't credit for gc purchases. How does that work for you? I kinda like that getting points there if it'd work. Target is .5 pt/$, the others were like 2 pts/$.

Why do you start at Gamestop first? And, do you get the GS on Ebay, then go to your GS? And, how much do you do there to start? Just did first time at GS this last promo, they only allow up to $1000 purchase in a day. I did $300, 3 times, then last round at Target. Worked great, since my last target cards hadn't arrived yet, but was a bit of a pain to go to the store 3 time, with work and all, and they closed at 9.

I sign in to my Ups when I get the email that I have to sign for it, and release it so they can deliver if I'm not there. Works out great, tho last two times, I just had delivered to work for my big orders.

I usually sign back in, then x out of the page and get another ebates Target link up,and I'm still signed in, cart is full, and then finish paying. I don't know if I didn't do that, if it'd credit or not, I do it be on the safe side, lol. So far, all purchases have credited.

Well that's good to know, I did have items in my cart from earlier that morning also. I will try to be sure to clear that out in the future.

I checked this morning and did get the credit, thanks for the responses. I think I am back with Ebates (switched to MyPoints for awhile) since I can pick up the extra qualifying item(s) in the store, makes for a better all-around system for me. Now to find the closest GS and check that out, just when you think you got it down, bam game changer, but sounds like a very worthwhile step! Thanks much everyone!

Very few companies have that restriction. The only one I know of is staples.

So are you doing more than one order for Target cards in a day when there's an extra bucks promo? I did do two $450 orders on day one last time then two $300 orders on day two. I know no one knows for sure but I'm just debating with myself if it's riskier to do fewer large orders or more smaller ones.....

I think with GCM there's much less risk for problems. My experiences have shown that problems only start when making multiple, large purchases from PPDG.

I haven't received an order from GCM that I placed on Mar 24th. It was shipped out on the 28th and seems stuck in Denver. When should I contact them? FYI: orders I placed on the 25th and 29th both arrived on Saturday.
