...Do you always get the eBay cards by ecards or do you sometimes order the physical gift cards from target? I just noticed from your ticker you are going to WDW one week after us in November!
I have only ordered Ebay ecards from Target. I'm impatient and want the cards asap, lol, so I can be ready, and even though I do have some time till our Nov trip, lol, I don't see any reason to wait for cards to arrive in the mail if I don't need to. Plus, I am planning for a May trip. And, speaking of the our Nov trips, I can't wait! We'll even see the last couple days of F & W, so that might be cool! I have an AP that will run out in May and it's, as they say, burning a hole in my pocket these days, lol! We want to see the DL 60 celebration, and May is the only time we can go, so we're doing that, but we did use the AP's for a couple trips last year.
How do you do this and not lose the 5% Target Red Card discount?
For me, if I'm not seeing the 5% disc show up, I go back in, edit payment to be the redcard, save, and then it usually shows up due to the extra item in cart, then I edit again and switch to pay the whole thing with the gc's and the disc stays in the cart for everything and I complete the order. It works for me.
I just noticed that iConsumer has lowered their % back on eBay purchases from 4% down to 3%. It's still higher than the other cash back sites I'm aware of - Mr. Rebates (2%), MyPoints (2pts/$1, approx. 1.4%), or eBates (1% on GC's), but just FYI for those comparing cash back options. iConsumer also still caps eBay cash back at $20/month, so at 3% that would allow you to churn about $675 through there before you hit the cap.
Topcashback is at 2.1% for Ebay this week. Of course, last week with the 5x promo, it was 1.5%, lol, but it was still better than ebates. I got more back on my $750 order thru TCB than for the $900 order thru ebates. I'm hoping that TCB works out as far as getting my payout, haven't gotten one yet, but I it's not time yet I guess. I've done well with getting my cashback from ebates, so I do like them.
If you log into your PayPal account and click on wallet, then scroll down, hit classic site, then look on the left for I think it says gift certificates or something like that. I then hit see redemption codes, and it will list all that you have used.
Thanks, I did this and confirmed what I thought I had spent with gc's. It is a bit tedious having to click the details for each item. It'd be nice if they could make the site more user friendly and easy to find out this info! But, thank you for sharing the info, it was helpful!
