Surprisingly I was able to find 2 lonely Ol 25ers. Not hidden at all: out in plain sight actually. In the wrong spot but in plain sight.

Did the self checkout which worked like a charm. I got a free Jamba Juice so it wasn't a complete waste. But is an hour of my time looking through every gift card spot, behind every stack of cards worth $5 and a Jamba Juice? Probably not.

Some stores are restocking.

I stopped by a local Target this afternoon and found a large number of $25 cards. I bought a few hundred for an upcoming trip, but they had plenty more.
Tonight, DW tells me she was there last night and they had none.

Just to clarify- if I got a pharmacy rewards in the mail, the ONLY thing I can get an additional discount on is non gift card purchases... regardless of online or in store, correct?

Wow, what a great thread! I'm obviously new to it LOL and also this current Target deal. Would anyone be so kind to post the GC # so I can check in the inventory tracker? I read back quite a bit but don't see it. They're likely sold out at my stores anyway but worth a try!

Some stores have been setting limits, but they seem to be somewhat rare. There is no company-wide limit that anyone has reported reaching.

Hope you find some!! My store has not set a limit. In fact, one of the managers himself told me that a couple of guests bought 'thousands' this past Sunday...and hence, they have been out of the $25's since then. Good luck!

Awesome. Wish I had bought more Target gift cards (to buy a Target gift card) at Kroger when they had 4x fuel points, but I will definitely take advantage of this.

Really? I hope so! I never found any $25 Disney cards at my target. There is no other one nearby to look. We live in a very rural area. Will be happy to get the target gift cards. I bought them last year and had each of my daughters buy $300 too.

Is this deal, and the current GC with purchase deal, pretty typical for the holiday season? I'm curious if similar deals come out during the year. This is only the second time I have done the GC churn for a trip, and this has been a much better use of my time than chasing Raise, etc.

So, that kind of confirms my suspicions. They HAVE the gift cards in stock....likely in the back or somewhere....they just aren't putting them out intentionally. This would explain why they won't look in the back for those of us who have requested it.

Side note: I checked the inventory tracker, and it DOES reflect the measly two I bought last night. So, now my faith in the inventory tracker is restored, but my faith in Target has not been. Clearly, they knew there was more SOMEWHERE. They just didn't want to look for them. They definitely were not out on the floor, because I checked every gift card location, checkout lane, and endcap. And, I checked behind cards as well. And, yes, I know people are busy, but when I asked them yesterday, there was NOBODY in line....not in front of me or after me. And, there was three of them at customer service desk, in addition to the others around the store.

I live an hour from the nearest Target, so it isn't as simple as just...popping over first thing in the morning to see if they've been re-stocked.

Great news! Not the 15% from BF I was hoping for but hey, it's something. Unfortunately, that is the day my family is celebrating Christmas. The plan (if it had been on BF) was to go in store to buy in cash numerous different transactions at different registers, since it can't be tracked the way it is online. I am wondering if we can get Target cards at the self-checkout. That would help a lot. I know most cards are name-your-own-price, but I am wondering if there are some $100s or $150s that can be purchased at self-checkout. I hate to do it, since I live the aforementioned hour away, but I may have to go first thing, and hopefully get back in time to prepare Christmas lunch. Craziness I tell you!

Awesome!! Naturally we will be in WDW on 12/20 so I might ask my mom and a BFF to order for me and i'll pay them back I remember I did this last year or the year before (whenever it was) and it was a nice savings.

I went back to the Target where I bought 24 on Wednesday to see if I could pick up some more. I tried calling first, but the CS clerk refused to put the inventory number in her system, instead having someone check the displays by the cash registers (which we all know have only $50s and $100s).

I checked all the usual locations (note: the electronics had 2 slots for $25.00 cards but both were empty). So I grabbed 8 x $15.00 Starbucks gift cards (for holiday gifts) and headed to the cash. I lucked out with the cashier as she was a "trainer" and extremely friendly. She checked the inventory code for the $25.00 Disney cards for me and told me they had over 100 in stock. She even knew the exact locations. However the manager was standing by her cash waiting for her to leave for break (making sure no one else lined up at her cash) and said "sorry, we don't have $25.00 cards left; we have been out since Monday". Ugh. However she wasn't deterred and checked a stand between the cash desks close to the entrance and found a stack ! She held them up for the manager to see and he just shrugged his shoulders. I am so glad that she didn't listen to him! Turns out there were only 10 in the pile (the ones at the back of the stack were AMC cards), but I happily took all of them! She also combined all my $5.00 cards into one for me! She was the BEST Target CSR I have ever encountered.

are there particular SB cards that work? I'm thinking these would make good teacher gifts!
