Target debit cards were mentioned on here before as getting the 5% off. Last thing we need is another credit card so if we do the debit card we can use it online right? (Read an article that said it couldn't be used online.)

Thanks so much for posting the PayPal deal! My net cost for a $50 card was $36.75 (paid with a Target gift card). That's a 26.5% discount! Need to get more Target gift cards at Kroger by Tuesday while they are running 4x fuel points.

I used the combine Target GCs that I got from SB and Perk over the past couple of weeks...$300! After ordering 6 $50 Disney GCs, I still have enough to order a 7th card if this deal can be repeated that many times. I'm going to hold off for a day before making that last order. That would be $350 worth of GCs all for FREE for redeeming less than one month's worth of rewards!

I love free money but I love it more when I can stretch it even further!

Thank you for posting the information about Paypal. I was getting ready to order Disney Cards last night and I thought, let me just look at the Disboards first! Thank goodness I did! I was able to buy eleven $50 gift cards before it told me I had reached my limit. I bought $550 worth of Disney GCs and saved $117.37 which is a 21% savings. It might be another 2% savings if I get my credit from Cardpool for buying my Target GCs, but I'm not counting that because every site I use that says they are going to pay me, then ends up telling me my purchase was excluded. Regardless, this is awesome. This will offset a problem I had with Target on my first transaction where they did not use my gift cards I entered and charged it to my credit card. I called them to fix it and they told me to return the cards to the store, but of course that did not work. So on that $500, I only got 5% off.

If anyone knows a site that is legit, please let me know. Thank you.

So eleven transactions is the max for that particular Paypal deal? Once you've done eleven it will no longer allow you to do any more?

Are you referring to Top Cash Back when talking about the 2% savings from buying through Cardpool? Because I've never had a purchase excluded from them. However, they only credit you up to $1000 in purchases from ANY site; after that you won't get anything back when buying from Cardpool.

From their terms/conditions:
"Once a unique user has reached the threshold of $1,000 in purchases and sales, in total across ANY reward or cashback sites, they are not eligible for any more cashback from Cardpool and your transactions may stop tracking or go on to be declined."

Could that be the problem?

Nope, we considered doing the red card but we already have like 4 credit cards (maximizing points/miles that way), so my husband really didn't want to apply for another one. We're waiting for the prepaid redcard to come to our state. That is good for the extra 5%, right?

Target has a non credit, non pre paid Debit card. No application. They just link to your bank account.

I believe you have to do it in store with a voided check (for proof of account and routing number).

Are you saying that you placed 11 separate orders and then you were not allowed to place a 12th?

I applied online from what I remember. The employees said I couldn't do it, but I recall being able to. I use the debit card and I love it. Just have your bank account info like number and routing. It's great.

Butting in here; It’s the Target Red Card. I love it. It’s as if you are using a debit card; not a credit card. You still get the 5% off each purchase, free shipping for anything on target.com. It doesn’t hit your bank account immediately; it usually takes a day or two since it’s not a direct link, like your debit card, to your account. I just applied for mine at the register. I just said I wanted to apply for the red card that is a debit card not a credit card. They just needed my name, social and checking account number and routing number. Done in 2 minutes.

Right now, Kroger has 4x the gas points on gift card purchases. So whatever you save on gas, take that difference and put it in your Disney fund J I was going to purchase the Memory Maker this weekend so I’m going to head to Kroger and get a Disney gift card with the amount. So that’s what, $170 with 4x the gas points??!!! That’s almost 700 points!!! WOW, that’s a deal.

Yes. I've never actually had money debited and I applied online and used it immediately online. So far I've saved $75 and love the free shipping when dd needs hair products.
