Here's an update on the Dlyte offer from Swagbucks....

I ordered a $25 Starbucks gift card on 6/19 and the 1500 SB were available in my account on 6/22. My order status on Dlyte is still showing "In Review"...SIX DAYS LATER. I e-mailed them via their "Contact Us" link on 6/23 and have had no response. Luckily, my credit card has not been charged yet either. I'm not sure what their deal is, but I am not going to do any further business with a company that takes over a week to process an electronically-delivered gift card order.

Oh, and I've already redeemed the 1500 SB so if the order never goes through, will I "owe" them 1500 back?

Same happened to me waiting on a $25 gap card still in review. I removed my saved credit card info from there site and no charges on my cc yet but still unsettling. Got my SB and cashed them out. Not our fault Dlyte isn't holding up there end.

Recently got $525 in target gift cards from a Citibank promo. Tried to order $400 in disney gift cards, but the order tried to charge me tax and was then cancelled. I then did 5 $100 GC's and 1 $50 GC (put the extra on my debit). Orders all went through to shipping, and tax was taken off before the order was finalized. I had to put my debit card number in to temporarily cover the tax, but as I mentioned, it was later removed.

Meijer has a mperks coupon for $5 off a $50 or more Disney gift card through June 27.

Thanks for posting this!! I missed this when looking at all the coupons, going to get one later today! I don't have the time/energy/patience for all the Target/Disney gift card stuff, but if I can save a little with a coupon, I'm all for it
(Not meaning anything negative towards the Targt gift card people......it is awesome how people have figured out how to work the system and save! I just don't have the time to do it )

Yes...I just did it. I got a code from another member and she was able to get $50 dream dollars and I was able to get the $200 gift card. I got the one with no annual fee. I believe it is still running on the one with the fee(??). I also received an invitation in the mail to open up the no fee Disney visa with the same promotion.

I'm having an unusual experience with Dlyte as well. I ordered a $100 Target gift card during the dlyte/Swagbucks promo last week. I received an e-mail that night from Dlyte asking if I wanted a physical gift card mailed or an e-card. I chose to go the electronic route. A day later I got a pdf file with what appeared to be a scan of the back of a physical gift card. Everything was fine with the card's number and pin. I used it right away to order a Disney gift card from Target. Things got weirder yesterday when I received another e-mail from Dlyte telling me my gift card had been sent. This e-mail was like what one would receive from gyft or raise. So I figured it was just an "official" e-version of the gift card scan from Sunday. The numbers, however, are different, and the balance shows $100 on Target's site. So apparently Dlyte sent me two $100 gift cards. I checked my visa card to confirm that I only was charged once.
I'm contacting Dlyte to make sure everything gets straightened out.

Ok, cool.. I can deal with that! I bought some gift cards yesterday, no problem.. I almost didn't notice the tax this morning. Glad I caught it! Still annoying!! I want my gift cards!!

Sales tax laws vary by state. I bet we could find a correlation between shipping address and sales tax being collected. That's probably why some people report it and others don't.

Last week Target was charging tax on Disney cards for me, it's not anymore. They are charging tax on the Target gift card with the present on it, but not the one with the dog. I think it's just random.

I got a Disney Gift Card at Meijer this week (one of mine & one of my husband's mperks). Thanks for the tip! Combined with the 6% back using my AMEX Blue...it is a good deal!

Update: I just used the mperks at Meijer and bought a $50 gc for essentially $45.
My reading comprehension fail was I thought it was $5 off every $50. We started with purchasing a $100 gc and only had $5 in savings, so I re-read the fine print. (Duh!)

Giftcardgranny.com is only a search engine. It only tells you which site has the gift cards the cheapest.
