I have a question about Best Buy gift cards from PPDG....

I've never tried PPDG but I am sitting on $450 in eBay gift cards and I have to find some way to get them turned into Disney gift cards. If I buy a Best Buy gift card from PPDG, can I print it up and take it to the store to use on a Disney gift card? I know that it is probably a YMMV situation, but I was thinking it would be a little "less obvious" if I handed the cashier a printed GC along with my rewards certificates. I think it would be a little too obvious if I had to pull out my phone to have them scan a digital gift card.

I'm not sure about the print out, but this past weekend I tried with a $50 BB gc I purchased from PPDG for a $50 Disney. I showed it to her on my phone. She didn't even bat an eye.

I logged onto my ebay and saw a banner, but it didn't load all the way so I refreshed and now it's gone.

Update: i checked out the app and had it on there so i activated it. After that when i loved in online it was on my banner so those who don't have it might try that.

That is exactly what I did. I had two $100 Best Buy ecards. I printed them out and bought $200 Disney no problem in store. But that was before everyone started having issues buying gift cards with gift cards on PPDG. I haven't tried since I cashed out the last of my ebucks through PPDG and it didn't go through smoothly for that either.

Not for me but my wife got it. But still no target cards to take advantage of offer.
Can't find Best Buy besides PPDG and I don't want to deal with the paypal headache.

I got the 5x, but can't get an order to go through on PPDG. I never have been able to get one through. It always gives me an error right after entering my paypal info. Do we have any other options? This makes me so discouraged :-(

This is so disappointing. I got the deal but right now I have nothing to buy. Maybe they will miraculously restock today. I still haven't turned my target into eBay, just in case they don't restock.

I got it; of course the bedding I wanted to get for DS sold between 6am and now, so I'm going to wait it out and see if GCM posts more Target GCs. Otherwise, I'll give PPDG a shot for BB GCs. If my account gets locked, I'll wait it out I guess. Nothing lost at this point.

I then went to the BB website and ordered a $25 Disney gift card for in-store pickup. I paid for it with the digital gift card and it went through without a hitch.

Now, I just need to wait for the "your order is ready for pick up" confirmation. If this works, and *IF* I get the 5x offer, I may buy another $125 in Disney cards. I see that they offer eBay cards at BB, but my local BB does not carry eBay gift cards in the store. Maybe I will have to check the one on the other side of town...

UPDATE: Well, as I suspected, the order was canceled. The reason says "We are unable to verify your information". Since I will be over there anyways, I will give it a try with the digital gift card on my phone.

On a related note... I do have a few things that we could use from Best Buy. DD needs a new tablet case, other DD needs a phone case, we are always losing chargers, etc... Let's say that in order to avoid "raising suspicion" by buying ONLY gift cards and paying for them with gift cards, I thought maybe I would buy one of the items we need along with a Disney gift card. My only concern is, what happens if I need to return the item?? Would I get a credit back to my credit card or would I get a refund to a BB gift card? I have no intention of returing anything, since they are all items we need anyways, but I want to be aware of every possible issue.

Every post I've seen where people are buying Ebay gc online using BB gc, their order has been cancelled. My BB has no problem with me using BB GC to purchase Ebay, but that was with $25 and I'm extremely chicken of taking in a few hundred lol.

Which BB's do you use? I'm in Kentwood so I typically hit the one on 28th St, but I'm close to M-6 so hopping over to the one in Grandville is not too difficult either. I haven't found the eBay cards at the one on 28th St, but I've never checked in Grandville. I doubt I'll make the hike up to the one on Alpine, but we do go to the beach in Holland quite a bit in the summer so that one might work too. Hmmmm....

You know...come to think about it... I donate plasma every Tuesday and Thursday. Best Buy is right across the street. Maybe I will just stop in there and buy $50 or so at a time. Then again, what would raise more suspicion...coming in 1-2 times a week and buying small amounts or coming in once a month and buying a large amount??

That's what I'm not sure of.

Surely if you went in 1-2 times that week, that probably wouldn't be a huge deal. I'm thinking of it this way.. We have ONE BestBuy in town. If I go in this afternoon with, say $400, and I do that, fine. But if I go in tomorrow with $400 again, are they going to be like "WTH lady?!" or am I going to get a different cashier who will have no clue!?
