Why is the digital more of a pain for the GS guys? I printed the eGC and he scanned it no issue.

Well I got the ebucks offer but...I can't order any more Target through GCM until the 23rd (apparently there is a limit of 25 cards per 10 day period). I have about $1700 in eBay GCs to spend. Any other options besides GS? I'm a little nervous to do that one again after the trouble we had last week converting them to eBay, but I feel like I need to get something since I have a limited amount of time to churn this quarter. Decision, decisions...

No email but I got the offer. I think I'll run to Kroger on my way home and get an eBay gift card (4x fuel points) assuming GCM still has $150 gift cards in stock.

So I am currently stuck with $900 in GS gift cards. I had called my local store and was told that I could buy eBay gift cards with GS gift cards before I made the purchase. But once I actually got to the store, the employee would not run the transaction. He said they didn't allow it for digital gift cards, just physical cards. Called another store and asked, they said yes. Went to another store and same thing. Wouldn't let me do it once I arrived. Went to third store that said I could buy any other gift cards, just not eBay or Amazon.

So I am going to make another round of the stores this morning and hope that one of the employees will let me run this, but if not I figured out a backup plan. They did say I could buy Shell gas cards, which seem to be the highest value gift cards for resale that they have. I can sell the Shell cards to one of the reseller sites in exchange for eBay gift cards and retain 95% of the value of my cards. Which means that this GS churn would have been basically a wash after the 2% eBucks and the 4% eBates. But at least I won't be stuck with GS gift cards. Lesson learned and I will not be churning through GS again. My local stores are not friendly to the practice.

So interesting thing happened to me this am when I was trying to convert target cards back to eBay. Using both my phone and iPad the target mobile and tablet sites only showed eBay avail as a $100 gift card that was currently unavailable for purchase. It also was showing all other specialty gift cards (Disney, southwest, Starbucks, etc) unavailable as well. So I broke out my laptop (which I don't regularly use) and going through that on the desktop website I was finally able to order eBay gift cards ($50, $100, and $200 showed as avail). Now just waiting for them to be delivered to my inbox.

The daily max purchase on eBay for a target gc is $1000 right? I'm going to buy ebay gc at Target today to use on this ebucks I got for both my accounts and need to buy DLR tix for 4 and WDW tix for 2 so 8% seemed like a great return.

Ugh that's what I am afraid of and why I am too fearful to try GS-at least with target I know I would eventually spend any funds tied up. So sorry to hear this hope you find a willing employee.

Well, no email, ebay message or banner on both my and DH's accounts. Looks like we are sitting this one out. Seems strange that both of us didn't get it. Oh, well. I took advantage of the extra eBates yesterday, but I still had some funds I could churn with.

First offer I have ever NOT gotten from Ebay Bucks. I earned $365 last quarter but already cashed them in for Ebay gift cards. For those who got the offer, did you have smaller amounts of Ebay Bucks? Just curious if there's a pattern.

Just for reference, I had $500 in bucks and Dh had about $200. I cashed them both in for Target cards about a week ago. Neither of us got the offer this morning.

Thanks for this update. I have had success with a $25 eGC at my GS and was prepared to go with $400-500 today. I think I'll stay a little more conservative.

I have that experience just with the laptop. I find that I have to work the search to come up with larger denominations more times than not.

I have never had this happen before and the odd thing is all the specialty gift cards I could see on the iPad and my phone said either unavail or only sold in stores-thought maybe they were stopping sales online for a minute
