Disney Gift Card Deals

using my Redcard again to receive the 5% off and my purchase was declined on my Redcard. Very embarrasing.

I had that happen in December too. I had over $10,000 in my checking account and was purchasing $600 in gc. I called from my car to complain and was told that it was because I was a new user and had made a purchase earlier in the week and it had to clear my bank first. It had already cleared & I told her that. She said that the money doesn't come out of our account immediately so for their liability, they need to see that things run smoothly for a while. She could not give me a dollar amount that was an acceptable amount. She said it varies and they have no way of knowing what each person's amount is. It was very frustrating.

Well I went and tried to purchase $300 worth of EBay cards from Target's desktop site, on my phone and it would not give me the 5% off. I tried putting in a Disney gift card and it did, tried the ruler and it did. But when I put in the EBay gift cards in my cart, my 5% got cut off, every time! But I was getting the 5% off on the app. Yet, the app was not allowing me to use gift cards for payment.

At this point I thought my EBay/Target churning days were over. So I went and uninstalled the Target app of off my phone and then I reinstalled it and it worked!! Got the 5% off and was able to use my gift cards.

Now I was previously able to get the 5% off of the EBay cards on Target's desktop site, but it seems as a no go now and I really don't think this is a good sign.
Target IT rivals Disney IT for the worst in the bunch award.

People have been seeing the 5% discount disappear and then reappear for well over a year now. I wouldn't get nervous or upset until the day comes when everyone reports that they are no longer having success with the discount. Until then, I prefer to take the wait & see approach.

Oh, ok. Didn't know that. Good to know.

Does anyone have luck getting credit for raise.com through TCB? I now have 4 tickets in with them for points not credited. They show I clicked through to the merchant but nothing for the purchase.

I had to do a ticket for about 75% of my transactions through TCB and of those tickets, I'd only get credit for like 25% of them. I had a huge hotel purchase where I was getting about $150 back- it DID credit and that was the last time I used them (last March). Too much trouble for me. I don't buy from Raise very often because I often find better deals elsewhere but when I do I just go to the site without any rebate portal.

Think I'm done too. I decided to give them another try because I ordered a gc for my daughter at one of her fav shopping places but they're just not worth all this hassle. I'd have been better off going through SB. Lesson learned.

I still say Raise is the problem and not TCB. Maybe it is just my experience, but Raise does not credit on SB's either. Yet every other purchase I have made through TCB and SB's have all credited.

It happened to me when the 4x bucks offer came out. Was up late dinking around with it, trying to get the GCs purchased in time to take advantage of the eBay offer. I completely rebooted and then it worked, the Target cards were sold out on eBay by then but I went ahead purchased the eBay cards so that I would be ready for the next offer.

Just in general, hotel stays are BAD about getting reported to the cashback site. Usually if you read the terms and conditions, they say they do not credit until like 30 days after the stay is completed, which can seem an eternity if you booked the hotel months out anyways. But I have had to submit tickets for every single hotel stay and all were done through ebates. Different hotel chains. I have read many people say they have to fight for hotel cashback.

I've had issues with more than just Raise. Maybe 5 other stores. When I have a problem with Ebates, I'm credited within days usually without any hassle. TCB would take weeks for just an answer.

The hotel one is actually one of the only ones I didn't have to submit a ticket for. It credited days after our trip was complete.

I, too, had nothing but issues trying to use TCB. I had transactions that listed as pending credits for Oriental Trading, Target (with a $5 bonus offer TCB themselves offered), Birthday Express, WM and one or two other stores. In the end all but WM they revoked credit saying it wasn't a verified purchase through any of the retailers. I've never had issues with Ebates or MyPoints and they are few and far between on SBs. I've given up on TCB after many back and forths and refusal to credit me.

That is so bizarre really. I've had such good luck with TCB and I've been using them since they began about two years ago. I am also a long time ebates user and it has only been in the last year that I have quit having to submit tickets for about half my purchases. I do like how quick ebates responds but I've not had to submit tickets very often to TCB so it has not been a huge issue.

I have a question about buying Disney GCs from the Target site. I have already ordered $250 worth, but I need more before our June trip. My goal is to order $450 worth by then. I have $175 worth of Target GCs right now earned from my HumanaVitality wellness program and Swagbucks. I think I have two options. Which would be better?

1) Order 2 $100 Disney GCs, getting them for $190 with my RedCard and paying the $15. Then order $250 worth at another time for a total cost of $237.50, using $225 worth of Target GCs and paying $12.50. This would cost me $400 worth of Target GCs and $27.50 in cash.

2) Wait until I have $425 worth of Target GCs and buy the $450 altogether for a total cost of $427.50 (paying $2.50). This would cost me $425 worth of Target GCs and $2.50 in cash.

I'm thinking there is a limit of how many Disney GCs you can buy on the Target website, but I can't seem to find the answer. Also, I don't want to be flagged. I'm not sure which is more suspicious--two orders of lesser amounts or one order of a larger amount.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Below is a post from another thread on Disboards - I don't think it's been mentioned here. This was from one of the people who had been banned from buying from Target's website. She's referring to Disney Gift Cards in the post.
Just to add. After multiple emails and calls I've finally found out that ordering more than 4 of the $50 cards in a day can trigger the flag. They told me that each card has a different limit but wouldn't tell me what the limit for the. $100 cards are.

All of my raise purchases have credited using tcb. But I'm almost at my $1,000 limit.

Ok, so in either scenario I would not be ordering 4 of the $50. In Option #1, I would be ordering one $50 on the second order. In Option #2, I would order 3 $50 because I think I can only order 3 $100 at a time.
I'm confused though. How did she order 4. I thought the limit was 3 $100 and 3 $50. Is this not correct?

So you can only buy $1000 worth of cards in your lifetime at Raise and then your done?
The rebate sites only rebate on $1000 worth of Raise cards in the lifetime of your rebate account. Raise would love for you to buy lots more than that....

You can order as many as 3 $100 cards and 4 $50 cards in a single order.
