ebay help please :)

I have $424.46 on Target gift cards right now. if I buy $400.00 in ebay gift cards what do i do to save money and results in getting disney gift cards?

Sign up for eBay bucks. If you buy ebay gift cards at target, you can get them at 5% off. If you turn around and buy Target gift cards on eBay, you can earn 2% in eBay bucks going the other way.

If you're patient and a little lucky, you may eventually get an invitation to earn 3x, 4x, or even 5x your usual eBay bucks rebate (i.e. 6-10% instead of 2%) for a brief promotional period. Not everyone is invited, and it's very rare that they run one at the same time as an eBay bucks redemption period (which is now).

Reading this thread is frustrating me. Why would anyone who discovered a new method to save thousands of dollars reveal it to random people on this board? Everyone knowing about this just complicates things! For example, Target gift cards on eBay sell out MUCH faster now. I "discovered" the churning (or whatever you guys call it) method months ago and chose NOT disclose it. With A LOT more people knowing about this method, it'll be a lot harder for me to continue doing it. So, to whomever chose to tell a bunch of strangers about this method, thanks for killing the deal... I'm sure other people who also kept this method a "secret" are equally disappointed.

KEEP IT TO YOURSELF! No offense, but I rather save thousands of dollars myself than ruining it by telling everybody. You can call me selfish if you'd like.

For online shopping: swag bucks vs ebates
I've been using swag bucks since October. Is there a reason for me to also do ebates? Is it pretty much the same thing as far as shop and earn is concerned? TIA

That's not what this board is about. Sorry that we discovered your little secret and are now making life difficult for you. But I'm thankful for the others on here who are willing to share their ideas and experiences with others despite the fact that it may negatively impact your special money-saving super-secret method.

Same concept, but the sites you can get rebates from aren't the same for both. Additionally, the rebate percentage can vary as well.

Did you seriously create a profile just to bash people on this forum? Sorry, the great thing about the disboards is it is a community. We're here to help each other get to Disney and have the best trip ever.

Pretty sure there isn't much on here that is "super secret." Lots of others sites and forums discuss exactly what we talk about here. Just get over yourself and realize that you don't have a monopoly on saving money.

Ok, I will call you 'selfish'. Call me 'grateful'. I am grateful that so many have shared their ways to save. Many have been able to take vacations they never thought they could. That is wonderful!

And as far as helping 'a bunch of strangers', what is the problem with that? Have you read the story of the Good Samaritan? I'm just as happy helping those I do not know as those I do. I'm not that hung up on *me*.

I'm sorry we have spoiled your secret.

The amusing part to me is that it's not even their "secret."

Mark C.:
This thread has been around for years; the churning concept has been fleshed out for a significant amount of time - much longer than the "months" since you discovered it.

I find it unlikely that you genuinely figured out all of the information you're referencing on your own, considering the fact that you found this thread in the first place. Don't bite the hand that feeds you. If you did it all on your own, good for you - you should feel accomplished. Either way, however, shame on you for your selfishness. We all work together as a community here to benefit one another. Each of us bring our various knowledge, experiences, and expertise in order to help the next person.

The reality is, helping someone else with this does not definitely directly affect you negatively. It may potentially do so in the future, but that's not a guarantee. Personally, I would rather have a guarantee that I can help someone else even if it may cause me some inconvenience in the future, but clearly you don't share that sentiment.

I'm just glad there are so many other helpful people here that feel the same as I do.

Everyone has their right to their opinion I suppose but I for one am very grateful to the others on this thread for sharing their ideas and experiences. But I find it hard to believe you are going to blame this thread for Target cards selling faster on Ebay. Their are thousands that buy those cards for other reasons then Disney so lets be honest I think you just need some one to blame and I truly feel sorry for you.

So you can only redeem eBay bucks at specific times?

Who has the $100 eBay cards for $95? Looked on eBay and didn't see it. Thanks
It was sold in EBay but they sold out last night. I managed to get one from one account and was in the process of purchasing a second one from my other account when they sold out. So I just missed a second one by a matter of 2 minutes.

Lots of eBay bucks questions answered here:

Thank you for this link. I found this and thought it might be why some have not received the extra buck offers.

I don't know if this has been discussed but I'm wondering if anyone has tried this.

When you pay with your Target red card in store, you insert the card, and the discount comes off. I have the debit card, so I have the option for cash back. but before you confirm total payment, it asks "are you putting this all on the card?" or something like that. Has anyone done a split pay with a gift card AFTER they inserted the red card and received the discount? Did you keep the discount or did it change? Just wondering if this is a workaround at the store...

It would be good if could could purchase $450 worth of ebay cards instead of only $400. Using the 5% redcard discount, it would cost you $427.50 - just a few more dollars than you have on your Target cards. That way, when you go to Ebay to buy your Target cards, you will be able to purchase 3 $150 Target cards, saving your a small amount in shipping. Your rebate portal cash back + ebates will be slightly higher as well.

Just a quick question and im sure it has been answered before but can you use a target gift card sent via email to purchase a disney gift card in the store? I know you cannot receive the redcard discount but i was trying to protect the card i bought at raise by purchasing a new target card Thanks
