Trying to check out at Target.com with $100 ebay, one physical item to be shipped and 1 $50 Disney. Paying for all but $35 with gift cards and putting the $35 on my Redcard. It won't let me check-out. I am getting this message:

There was a problem processing your payment. Please try with another payment method!.

Anyone else getting that?

ETA: removed the Disney and it went through but I'm sure it will be canceled like the others.

Maybe you should slow down on the orders? Because you are doing so many transactions over and over again, it could be flagging your account for possible fraudulent activity and therefore cancelling them.

I was able to get $1,640 in target gc sunday. (Should have been $1,940 but one on line order cancelled) I went online and ordered $100 Disney cards in sets of 3. I was able to get the extra 5% and order $1700 in Disney cards with $25 left over. Saved $164 and I'm getting $85 free! Pretty pumped about these savings! I just wish they wouldn't have cancelled that other order. I even got 8 of my Disney gc in the mail today!

I think that was my 7th order over 3 days...doesn't seem that excessive...I am pretty sure I have placed more than that many times. And none have been that big. $100-200 each

Well, I have to say that you guys know what you're talking about. Those of you who were hesitant to order your Disney gift cards now, due to the rush and possible missed activations were spot on. I don't order nearly as many as some of you and have never had a problem, so I went ahead and ordered my $650, split into two orders. They arrived today. The $300 order was fine and activated. The $350 order was completely unactivated. Lucky me. I remember talks of the best number to call to resolve this and just searched quick - I'm finding both a "corporate gift card" number and people saying to speak to the "specialty gift card" department - any consensus on who I speak with to get these activated most painlessly? Or am I better off just going to Guest Services at the store that I work next to? (it's the store next to Target HQ and they tend to be very good at guest service matters) Either way, I'll have to do it tomorrow, as it's too late to reach anyone tonight.

Also, on another note, I live in a townhouse and we have locked mailboxes. That is normally where the gift cards end up, so I'm not too worried about theft, etc. Well, due to Target's free "seasonal shipping", these $650 worth of cards were left on the sidewalk in front of our door. :scared1: Thank goodness DH was watching for a different package and brought them in and they were all there. But, geez, I don't like leaving $650 just laying outside my door. So, anyone else who ordered recently, beware of the change in delivery method.

I took my unactivated card into the store. I needed the packing slip. They returned the item and re-rang it up which activated it.

Oh my on the gift cards left on the sidewalk!!! I've had $400 left on my front porch for a few hours before and that had me panicking even though I live in a very safe neighborhood. But this time of year is bad for theft of packages left out.

So, I purchased $600 in target gc's on Sunday with the deal that day. Now after reading the postings of the last couple days, I'm considering buying eBay gc's at target to be ready for an eBay 4x or 5x eBay bucks deal. I've received a few offers in the last couple months but never able to take advantage of the offers, or the knowledge to do it correctly, lol. So I'm wondering, is it worth it to buy the eBay cards at target now with no sale, to be ready when eBay does run an eBay bucks deal(hopefully in the not too distant future as people will want to shop using Xmas gc's they got)? Are the eBay cards at target gc's that are snail mailed to you or emailed so you can use them quickly after receiving them? TIA for any advice! :santa:

eBay gift cards bought via the Target website are sent via email and usually arrive within 3-4 hours. Certain times of year, there is a big spike in demand and things get slowed down to longer periods, but 90% of my orders have gone through in 4 hours or less.

The 5% discount thanks to the Red Card is, in my opinion, worth the effort, even if your first (and second and third) orders happen to get cancelled.

The bonus eBay Bucks tend to happen on Mondays, Tuesdays, and/or Wednesdays, so you likely still have at least 4-5 more days to monkey around before the next one.

I took my unactivated card into the store. I needed the packing slip. They returned the item and re-rang it up which activated it.
How did payment work with that? Did they refund and take payment again or do an even exchange? Don't want to mess up anything, since I paid with gift cards and got the 5% off online, which wouldn't happen in store. Thanks!

The final two orders of gift cards have shipped finally. They were two sets of 3 $100.00 gift cards. Target must be swamped. But I'm all done and set.
I'm glad i ordered as I will be home during the winter break to sign for them.

My $900 in Target gift cards has shipped from Gift Card Mall. So excited to get them and cash out for Disney once they arrive. Then we will be all set for our February trip with some great savings. DH and I plan to save all of our Swagbucks and Mypoints rewards from here on out towards our next trip in 2018 so that we can get that trip as close to free as possible!

I'm slow reporting back, but I got shot down when I tried to pay for Sunday's deal with gift cards from the previous week. The cashier insisted it's a corporate rule that you can't use Target gift cards to purchase Target gift cards. If that's the case it's clearly not a well enforced rule, because I know plenty of people do it. In fact I did it myself, but at self check-out. Anyway, just a quick PSA on what I was told about official policy.

Ok so I have learned a tremendous amount on this thread alone!!! I so wish I learned about Ebates a long time ago!!! That site has changed the way I shop for life lol!! So can you tell me more about Swagbucks and My points rewards?

I copied this from the Target website. I would print this out and take it with you the next time.

"Target Mobile GiftCards can no longer be combined using the Target App. If you would like to combine your GiftCards, please bring your current GiftCards to your Target store to purchase one single GiftCard for the combined value. Keep in mind, up to four GiftCards may be applied to a single Target.com order."

There is a Swagbucks thread that I would check out. It took me some time and research (here and through the beer money reddit) to really understand how to maximize Swagbucks earnings, but I have gotten it down to a science now. DH and I both have two cheap "burner" cellphones that we use for Swagbucks mobile app earnings. I got 2 Moto E phones for $10 each on Black Friday and they are really awesome. The other 2 phones are cheap LGs that were free. I also run nCrave in the background while I work for more earnings and try to hit at least the daily minimum each day (though I have been earning much more).

Mypoints sends you emails that you click through for points. You can also shop through their shopping portal, which I only use if eBates doesn't offer any cash back (such as West Elm). I have also purchased gift cards from Mypoints when the bonus points was huge, which resulted in upwards of 30% savings. You can search each month for 100 more points and a few other earning methods. I have two Mypoints accounts but generally the earnings is much less than Swagbucks.

We also use Bing rewards, which is a quick way to earn a little more each month. We have been cashing those out for Chipotle gift cards since we eat there regularly.

If any of my giftcards are unactivated I will just take them to the store.

It was kind of weird and they did not know what to do a first. Essentially you are returning something that has zero value and asking for them to give you money. SO, in my case, they figured out what I paid. The manager purchased a Target gift card in that amount and paid for it using their store Discover cc. Then, they re-rang up the card, which activated it, and paid for it with the gift card.

It's weird how it's inconsistent when you try to use Target features from one person to another. Some people can't get the 5% discount to work with Target GC, and this week I can no longer combine Target GC on the mobile website. Even with changing names.

The combining on the mobile website is an official change, the Target website says:

"Target Mobile GiftCards can no longer be combined using the Target App. If you would like to combine your GiftCards, please bring your current GiftCards to your Target store to purchase one single GiftCard for the combined value. Keep in mind, up to four Giftcards may be applied to a single Target.com order."
