Disney Gift Card Deals

Has anyone been able to go to Lowes to buy Disney gift cards using a Lowe's gift card? Raise has Lowe's gift cards and if I could use them to go towards Disney gc I'd be a happy girl.

I called my local store and asked but they said they'd have to have a manager exchange my lowes gift card for cash, then I could buy the gift card and that just seems very odd to me.

You will not be able to buy a gift card with a Lowes gift card. Target is one of very, very few retailers who allow you to buy gift cards with gift cards. Sears and Staples systems allow it, but the employees are trained to not. Some grocery stores do, but those are regional, so I don't have a list.

Don't worry, I think most of us are! I was for a while, but then I paid off my vacation so I feel the void of not doing this.

Me, too. So far, I've bought $400 of gift cards. Bought the target cards through raise.com at a savings of about $26. Then saved $20 buying the Disney cards through target.com. With the red card discount, that's about $46. And that isn't including the cash back I'll get for the raise purchase on my Disney visa and the cash back I get through ebates, because I used that to order from target (about another $12).

Haha same here! So far I've bought $2,350 in gift cards to pay for our trip and only paid $2,080.

Yep. It's worked once for me out of maybe six orders.

Ah, I didn't know that. I wonder if it makes a difference if you have something else in your cart. Still saving a decent chunk of change. I'm planning to use the gift cards in January at WDW, but we're tentatively planning a disney cruise in a couple of years. So I'll try getting them every few months and adding them to our vacation account.

I've heard it does but I tried it this week (added hand sanitizer which dd needs for school) and it didn't work. But I'm thinking hand sanitizer is excluded too so I'll try again next time.

Yes. I used to buy gift cards at Kroger in Richmond using a Kroger gift card. My kids' swim club used to get 5% of what I put on the Kroger gift card and put it toward the fundraising obligation. Kroger ended that last year so I don't use that process anymore, but as far as I know it still works.

I booked Party for the Senses and 6 deminars today for 3 people using my Disney gift cards that I bought from Target with Target Gift cards from Raise. It is really nice getting to save a bit.

The APP doesn't work for me either. I can only do it on the Target Mobile website.

I tried that, too, this morning. Wouldn't work. I stopped at a target on my way to work, combined them all onto one of my physical cards, and bought $550 worth of $50 Disney gift cards. I didn't have the luxury of time to do my gift card purchase online and wait a week for it to come in the mail. ...tomorrow is my 45 days!

But it was sure fun doing process of paying off my trip card by card!

Still seeing tax, sometimes, on the Disney cards on Target.com. Now i'm not seeing them for the $100 ones, but I am on the $50 ones. I went to a back-up PC (I have a Mac) and luckily the tax isn't showing on the $50 ones "there". Just keep trying and playing around with it but geesh Target, get it together

Same here on the Ebates - haven't received a credit in a long time and I know it's not technically eligible but it was nice when we were getting them randomly about 2-3 months ago. I'll keep trying too as you never know.
