I have a $5 BBY rewards certificate. This is the first time I’ve actually earned one! If I use it in conjunction with my SB code, I won’t get the 750 SB back right? Or does the SB code get scanned before the reward is taken off? Trying to figure out how I want to use it.

It works but net it out of the total.

Actually, I think BB recently removed gift cards from the list of things you could apply your rewards to. I haven't tested it personally, so I can't guarantee it won't work, but go in with the knowledge you may get blocked.

I am heading to BJ's tonight to purchase my gift cards. I calculated that they are 4% off the $100 and $500 value cards and only 3% on the $50 or 3 pks of $50/150. Buying with my Disney CC so it will be 5% off. New to wheeling and dealing but I think that is a start.

The BBY rewards certificate is actually a coupon, so your total is reduced by $5 before payment. Since SB is looking at your subtotal, if you're buying a $100 your subtotal after the cert is $95 and you'd only get the lower bonus amount for SB.

I don't believe BBY rewards certs can be used on GC's anymore. I know there were issues a few months ago around a policy change BB rolled out. Just FYI in case that's what you were looking for.

I think they are adding the 4% plus the 1%.

Unfortunate Now I am just watching for deals on anything I would buy anyways, like batteries or kcups, and move that cash to my travel budget And actual deals, not necessarily paying an inflated price. I have $45 in points now because of the GCs I got for ILs cruise... I didn't count them in my savings percentage though since I didn't know when I'd be able to use them.

Now that Staples is showing $20 back on $90 through RMN, I'm considering buying HG cards and flipping at HD. That would get the $1.99 secure shipping or whatever back.

Now I'm tempted to go ahead and do this 2 times each on our accounts. I did a Disney GC on each last night...

Same and I just got the BB credit card a few weeks before they stopped letting you use the rewards certificate for GCs. I got it because we were buying a tv and thought it would be a great way to get double points on our first transaction that I could then use for Disney GC. If it had happened before then I would not have opened the card and would have just used another card I have instead.

Does anyone know how long it takes RMN Staples online purchases to go to pending? I purchased a GC to double up on my AMEX offer and RMN...Amex is pending bot not RMN?
