I posted the last HEB deal in July. It was $15 coupon on each $100. Every time I go to HEB I check as it's rarely advertised. I also keep checking the boards. I bought $3000 in DC in July ... Saved $450 need about $1000 more to pay for our Jan trip. I also bought some Amazon cards. Should have bought some iTunes as well.
If I find any deals I will be sure to post.

Sorry, I'm sure $15 is correct.:teacher: I guess I was doing Echo Queen math.lol

Buy $100 in any combination of gift cards and get a $25 coupon to use as soon as they give it to you. Buy another $100 in gc use the coupon and pay $75 for the those, this will produce another $25 coupon. You can continue to do this process (going in and out of line) until you have the amount you need.:teacher:

The thing about this deal is it is not advertised and the store employees no nothing about it. Someone will post here on the dis when it's on. I have managed to catch it 3 times, the last in July. Every time from a post here on the dis board.

OOOOOOO so, if I got some of these cards, could I use them for tips, etc at TS in WDW?

It's a big chain of restaurants in Texas--not sure of or's outside of Texas--they're like Safeways only I swear they're generally a tad bigger.

Grocery stores in Texas. Here Everything's Better.

Actually it stands for H.E.Butt the founder of the grocery chain which is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas.

Yes, you can use the gift cards for tips, etc at restaurants at WDW. If you stay on property, put a credit card on file with WDW, charge to the room, and then every day (before it reaches that certain amount that WDW will process a charge through to the credit card), pay off the balance with the gift cards.

I'm losing my mind. Meant to say grocery stores, not restaurants. I had a late night at the restaurant last night.

Please note that it is $15 per $100 not $25. :teacher: but yes you can use them for tips, food and apply them to kttw.

Does anyone remember if there were any GC deals for Black Friday or after that?

I've asked the in-laws for Disney gift cards for Christmas to tuck away for our someday-cruise... but then I read the bit about "store only" cards... Is there an easy way to tell the difference? I would be disappointed if I ended up with a bunch of Disney store cards I can't use for the trip...

I am not sure about the store only, but the ones I have say redeemable at at Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disney Cruiseline, Disney Stores and at DisneyStore.com

I know these are the ones usually sold at Target, grocery stores, an wholesale clubs.and also available online direct through Disney.

Today I went to Target in Portland, OR (I think it's called Gateway). I was buying $144 worth of actual stuff and $200 of GC's with my Red Debit Card. The card wouldn't go through for that amount and long story short, I needed to use my card a few more times or for higher amounts. I then suggested we take the gift cards off. It went through fine. She then tried to ring the cards separately and when I swiped my car the total dropped from $200 to $190. It wouldn't allow me to do it so next week I'll do it again. I may have to do it on every trip to Portland before we go. But the discount did apply. The annoying thing was that they only had increments of $50. But that's like getting a free snack for every $100 spent!

I could only buy 6 gift cards at a time when I first started using the Red Debit card. I think it was on my 5th purchase that they finally let me buy more. They only have the $50 ones around here too. When I called to ask about when the limit would be lifted from my card, they did tell me that as soon as the payment clears through my bank, I could make another purchase.

What section are you finding the gift cards in?

Electronics section. In my store, they are facing a main aisle.

Cash registers and electronics at the one I went to. And they were only the $50 ones.

As the others said, they are usually on an end cap facing the aisle in the music/electronics/books aisles.
