Cross posting this with the credit card thread- my Lowe’s did have a Kroger gift cards! I don’t think I’ve ever seen them sold anywhere. I picked up a $100 one with the 10% back Amex deal and will use it during the fuel points promo to buy a Disney GC hopefully. If not, I regularly shop at Kroger anyways so it’ll just go to groceries.

You could still use them in March if you want. They just won’t combine with FPS earned in Feb.

Does anyone what discount is offered at BJs for Disney gift cards? They don’t have the prices posted and I don’t want to pay 10 dollars for online membership just to find out is not worth it... also, has anyone paid for a Disney resort stay with gift cards? How difficult is it?

Here are today's prices. Yes, it's easy to use DGC at the resort, just have them consolidated into large amounts at https://www.disneygiftcard.com/.. Don't be that person that hands over a deck of cards, consolidate !

Definitely yes in-store. I tried on line without success. Maybe there is something I'm not doing correctly. Same CC used in both places.

Do you have a Target by you? If you have a target red card the savings on the Disney gift card is 5% which is more than BJ's. I find the Target deal better unless BJ's offer a sale on their Disney Gift cards. Target also sells Disney Gift cards online too.

Yes. Only in store. I've tried online in the off chance it would work but to no avail. Plus, if you add an item to your gift card purchase in store at Sams you can also get a 5% Uber credit via the Visa local offers (of course I'm guessing you need to use a linked Visa card for this). Of course today I made a purchase at Sams and I haven't seen the Uber credit yet but if I remember correctly last time it took a day to show up in my Uber app. I'm sitting pretty at $128 worth of Uber credits right now so we may be using it to get around a little faster at WDW.

No. You cannot even use BB Rewards Certificates to buy gift cards anymore. Only Walmart/Sam’s Club allows gc to gc reliably. Bed Bath & Beyond system allows it but it’s super YMMV as many employees don’t allow it.

It does work. I bought about $150 worth of goods and a Sam's GC for $325 just today and by the time I was out to my car I had $8 Dosh credit (of course it takes a bit for it to become available). I just went to Sams online and purchased 2 of the $150 DGC packs because they are a little cheaper than buying in store.

The first one of the month will get you a substantial discount if you convert to either a Visa GC or Walmart GC. I want to say you will save another 12-13%. For the Visa GC I just use it to buy a $25 egift DGC from Target dot com.
