Disney Gift Card Deals

That’s what I understand...just thought that we could maybe get a list of cooperative stores. I will try it this week in central CT and post back.

You can get inconsistent results at the same store. I was successful at one store two different times, but turned down the third time. I was accused of money laundering. I used the contact form in the website to express my embarrassment at being called a criminal in front of the other customers and asked for confirmation on their gc to gc policy. Within a couple of days I got a call from the district manager with an apology and confirmation that it is allowed. He called the store manager to re-educate regarding the policy and to let him know I was coming back in to use my gift cards. I went immediately to the store and was firmly denied. I politely asked to see the manager who confirmed to both cashiers that this is allowed. Redemption!

I just went to the Target website to buy a Disney gift card and they no longer have them? All that came up were Disneyland Tickets. I looked in this thread to see if there was any word about this and did not see any, but may have missed it. Does anyone know what is going on?

Others have mentioned this recently (I think in this thread). No one knows for sure what is going on or if they will be back. GCs are still in store (for the time being at least). Hopefully it is temporary and the online GCs return!

This happens frequently. They disappear from the website and then they come back. Sometimes they say “out of stock” beforehand and sometimes they simply disappear.

Next week Shoprite is giving $10 off your next weeks groceries if you buy a $50 Bed Bath and Beyond gift card. I was wondering if any of you that have had success at your local BBB buying Disney could let us know which stores allow it.
I was successful in using Bed Bath and Beyond gift cards to purchase Disney gift cards in WI last month.

Anyone here use BeFrugal as cashback click through site? I couldn't find info on how much you have to accrue for them to send earnings. I am thinking of using them to buy Target GCs from Cardpool. BeFrugal says they'll give 3% back up to $600 then 2% after that (till maybe 1000). Cardpool has Target GCs for 7.5 off right now so that would be a good savings if BeFrugal came through.

Where? When? Is there still a chance?

For those that have cashed out SB for PayPal- how exactly does it work? Do they automatically put into your PayPal or do you do something to add it? And how long from then before you can deposit into bank acct?

It was at the Tanasbourne store last August but I haven’t tried it since then. I had redeemed all my Discover rewards for BB&B gift cards. I’ve built up my rewards balance again after the first quarter wholesale club bonus category so I really should try it again.

I went to our Best Buy today in Green Bay, WI to buy at DGC and the cashier said that the policy change May 1,that you could not use a BBGC to purchase a GC. But she tried it anyway and cash register would not allow it. Then she states she was told it has to do something with fraud and gift cards.

When you order, it looks as if you are ordering a gift card. The funds actually just get dumped into your Paypal account. Very easy. Once the funds hit your Paypal account, you can transfer to your bank immediately. It takes 1 business day for the transfer from Paypal to bank.

I have used BeFrugal before with no issues, but you have to earn $25 to get paid. I believe the $1,000 max includes ALL Cardpool purchases, even if you used another rebate portal. I'm not seeing the 3% deal though - only 2%.

My most recent Cardpool purchase from March 11 is currently showing payable, so it looks like things are posting fine. Oddly enough, I hit the $1,000 max a couple years ago. Surprised its showing payable.

I just checked the BeFrugal % back and now I also see the 2% but it was 3% an hour or so ago which was before midnight EST so maybe it was a 24 hour type thing. Thanks for the info on the payout. I don't purchase many gift cards (or use cashback) and so the 1000 limit isn't a big deal for me- I often have a problem accrueing enough to get a payout.

Just looking back to see how I accrued that much. They paid out on a bunch of discounted gift cards I bought at Newegg back in November. Looks like they also paid when making purchases at Target and Petsmart - even when paying with gift cards. Plus a big chunk from Contacts Direct.

Used a $25 BB g/c from swagbucks, $7+change e-gift card (from Coinstar) and cash at Best Buy in Manchester, CT yesterday and bought a $50 Disney g/c, no problems or questions. Stop & Shop grocery store has deal this week for $15 off your groceries if you buy $100 Best Buy...hope g/c to g/c works for awhile more in CT.

You could sell your $50 Best Buy card to Cardpool for $44.75. They have the best buyback prices that I've seen.
Thanks! I think this is the route I am going to take. By selling back my $50 gift card for $44.75, I can still take the cash to BB and buy a $50 gift card and "make" money off of the deal so I am not out anything. It looks like they pay out in the form of a paper check, though, which means I will have to wait 7-10 business days.

I decided to sell both my $25 and my $50 gift cards and I'm getting a check for $67.13. I can't complain since I didn't actually "pay" for those gift cards in the first place. I will take the $67, cash out for another $25 in PayPal, and hopefully, the QR deal at BB is still live. Then I can make 2 more $50 gift card purchases with the money which will earn me another $12 and I should walk away with $4 more than I started with.
