Disney gift card deal at Albertson's?

So on their website Albertson's is running a promo that you can get a $20 coupon off next purchase with $100 purchase of "qualifying gift cards". I also have the Entertainment Book coupon for $7 off $70 or more. Does anyone know (from experience) whether Albertson's code their gift cards as "gift" or "entertainment" cards (like Target does)?

I called and asked the manager on duty and she could not seem to understand what I was asking, let alone the right answer and how the coupons would apply. Anyone know? This could be quite a deal, but the nearest store is 25 miles away and I don't wanna drive there just to check, KWIM?

Be aware that the $20 coupons you get has to be used within one week.

Thanks for the link. It seems to indicate they treat them as gift cards. I did notice the one week expiration for the coupon. I may give it a try. A little leery as the one closest is infamous for their "great customer service".

I loved this deal the first few times they offered it, unfortunately it seems to be getting more and more limited every time.

The terms state: Get $20 in free groceries when you buy $100 in select gift cards. See in-store display or customer service for complete details regarding select gift cards.

It used to be good on almost any gift card, but they seem to rotate the cards included in the promo now. I haven't checked my local store yet, but several people are reporting these are the only cards included this time:

They are gift cards when they ring up, I buy them there whenever they do deals. Usually it is not all gift cards and so far it has not included disney . Usually it's lowes, itunes, sears and restaurants. They are offering it less and less often in my area, I know albertson's runs two different locals and each has their own deals.

I just checked coupon network and they are running 2 of them right now, neither include disney and only one is in my area. I have the $20/$100 and there is also a $10/50 I check that site every week and put in my zip code to see if it's working.

...as Albertsons goes, a large number of their stores (to include sister stores Acme Markets, Jewel-Osco, and Shaw's) were sold to a different owner (Albertsons' stores in the West, as well as the sister stores had been owned by SuperValu until recently).

I was at the Jewel yesterday and saw the promo, but they showed pictures on the sign of what I assumed were the gift cards that were included. It did not include Disney.

I went to my local Albertson's today and bought a $50 AMC card since I will be going there during my vacation and got my $10 voucher. Also got two others $25 each for Father's Day and received another $10. No Disney cards though, but at least I have dinner and movie covered at Fork and Spoon

I called Albertsons today and was told the Disney cards do not qualify for this. It's only gift cards for the companies shown in the ad.

I figured out a work around to save some money on the gift cards, it's a bit of a pain but I did it today no problem.

Buy the gift cards paying the catalinas at albertsons. The catalinas at my store did not have any restrictions on them besides 1 per transaction so I bought a $25 target gift card with the $10 from the other gift cards, paid $15 then went to target and bought a $25 disney gift card with that.
