Disney Gift Card - can you edit nicknames?

I have several cards that I am managing on the Disneygiftcards.com site. I originally gave them generic nicknames like "Card4", "Card5", etc. However, now I want to give them more descriptive names for separate purposes, like "2019 Cruise" and "MNSSHP 2018".

However, I do not see any way to edit the nicknames on the site. Am I missing something? Or must I delete the card and then immediately re-register it with a new nickname?

No, you can't edit the name. You simply delete it and re-add it with the new name. I just did this with my cards. I had one named "October 2018" but I decided to change it to "Dining Plan". You could also take an "old" card (just a physical card with a zero balance) and add that one with the name that you want, and then transfer the balance to that one, making it your new card. Just be careful to keep the previous card if it's one you've used to make a payment that may need to be refunded.
