Disney Gift Card and DDP

Hello Experts,
Can I use a Disney Gift Card to pay for the DDP upon check in? The DDP would be for 4 adults.
I like to pay for my trip in pieces over the many months leading up to the actual trip. I am thinking I could purchase a Disney Gift Card in the amount of 4 adult DDP's several months in advance. Then when checking into BCV I could present the Gift Card as payment in full for the DDP
Can this be done?

Yep, we did, we had gtten the $500.00 gift card for joining DVC and used it at check in to pay for the dining. Very easy- I think we owed about $10.00 more, and we just paid that in cash.

You can do it that way. We use our Disney Visa so we get Disney Reward points for our Disney vacations.
