so, this might sound kind of silly but i'm wanting to make disney gift bags for my (adult) friends. we are going to WDW in september to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, and since none of them are disney freaks like us i want to give them a little something to show appreciation for them coming. i don't want to go TOO over-the-top with disney stuff, but i thought it might be kind of cute to get them all big disney tumbers w/straws and fill them with little things like mini tubes of advil, disney band aids, lip balm for the girls, hand sanitizer, gum, etc. i will be making 4 goodie "bags" so i don't want to spend a TON of money, maybe around $50 each. does anyone have any other ideas for what i could get them? it doesn't all have to fit in the tumblers, i will put some of the stuff in little gift bags if there isn't enough room. i would also like some suggestions for where to get affordable disney tumblers because i haven't been able to find many good options online. THANKS! :)

We have seen the tumblers at Target, don't remember the price though.

I think the stuff you are putting in the bags are perfect, not Disney-ish, but needed while at Disney!

This may be too much, but I always make a Disney pillowcase for everyone on the trip we go with. Fun to sleep on while there and a cute souvenir for when you get home. If they are not that into Disney maybe find another fabric pattern that relates to each person you are traveling with.

Have fun!

How thoughtful and cute!!!

Are you going with the dining plan? Because if you are, they will already get a mug, and packing a mug and a tumbler for the return trip might be a PITA to some.

How about snack type items like granola bars and poptarts, or individual drink mixes etc.

Buy a box of "blister bandaids" too and put a couple in each bag, or let everyone know you have them if needed.

I think a chapstick with an SPF is appropriate for both genders. But maybe some pony tail holders etc for the girls?

do you have a Five Below near you? You can always find tons of useful travel stuff there or at the dollar stores (especially travel size medications)

no, we're not doing the dining plan. they might get refillable mugs anyway (i know i will), but i don't think packing should be that much of a problem since we're driving. but if i do decide that the tumblers aren't that great of an idea, i guess i could just do little bags. thank you for the ideas!!! ponytail holders for the girls is a good one... i NEVER have enough and it seems like i'm always losing them. we don't have a five below but i'll have to check out some of the dollar stores. i was thinking about travel sized pepto-bismol or tums packs too... not fun to think about, but since we're going for food & wine we might need them.

Also try Disney tumblers by Tervis - dishwasher safe, double wall insulted with a lifetime guarantee!

Spray on sunscreen for each bag would be cute and also maybe hats to ward off the strong Florida sun?

Consider some "glow" stuff. The Dollar Tree has the tubes of bracelets (which can be put together for necklaces or headbands) and clip on stuff. The clip on stuff that I brought for decorating my ECV was a big hit with all the adults in our group and most everyone got into doing a "glow" night.

Inexpensive poncho - just in case there is rain. Small tube of neosporin (or similar) ointment, Large bandaids in addiction to the the Disney bandaids - they are good for backs of heels where as the small ones dont stay on as well. If you get a box of bandaids (both sizes) you could split them up between the gift bags. Nail clipper sets - can be found very cheaply at Dollar stores. Maybe some nail polish remover (in little packs) and some little bottles of nail polish if the females do their own nails. Small bottles of lotion, shower gel etc - Bath and Body works makes man scents too but in the travel size section of target or walmart they have small bottles of Irish spring, axe etc. Small packages of kleenex. Small packages of feminine wipes (ie travel size baby wipes) are nice to have to carry to the park. Individually packed candies - but not chocolate, its still pretty hot there then, great to have in the park for a quick burst of energy - we like smarties, bulls eyes, peanut butter logs etc. By that time of year you may find fall/halloween candy out that is in indivdual packages and have more variety to choose from. Small flashlights - great for use in the room at night to go to the potty. On the flipside of that - a small nightlight for each room could work, we use ours on every trip - well, when I replace them from forgetting them :) Cute "chip clips" - use them to close curtains, hang up things, close any snack food bags we might have etc, I just bought bees and lady bug ones at Dollar tree.

I could go on and on but that is enough for now;) I will say that one thing that I have found very useful when traveling but esp to Disney are little "cubbies" to put on the dresser or nightstand to hold sunglasses, all the little small things that just get thrown on the counter etc. I buy them at a dollar store, they weigh nothing, fold flat and then simply open up and the dividers get velcro'ed into place.

Just got a Tervis disney tumbler at Khols last week . Super cute and they had 2 different sizes. You could check the travel section at target - they have travel size spray sunscreen, which would be the perfect size to carry around - I have it in my purse. You could also get hand sanitizer , bandaids , tide to go pens , tide sink packs , travel Kleenex , travel baby wipes , aspirin . All survival items at disney and not to over the top. I also like the idea of ponchos , but I like the disney ones the most . Lanyards are a great idea too !
