Disney geo-caching

I've been reading these boards for years, and haven't run across anything on geo-caching at Disney. Being new to the GPS geocaching fraternity, I've run some zip codes of Disney resorts through the geocaching web site and noticed tons of caches on disney property and even in the parks. Just curious if any Disers have went a looking while there and how was the experience. I'm still getting a grip on this new adventure and for some casual walking and looking while at Disney, might be some new found fun.

We found several geocaches on WDW property. Some were virtual, but there were a few real ones as well (like at Norway and Downtown Disney).

Instead of zip codes, I searched on the park coordinates from the Hidden Mickeys website.

You can also do some bench mark hunting at WDW (scroll about 1/3 of the way down for the WDW locations).

From what I seen cached on the geocaching web site around disney, there doesn't seem to be many reading this board. Thanks for the reply, we must be a minority !

I geocache but ya know what? I've never thought about doing it at Disney. Guess there is already too much for me to look out for! I'll be heading down in April, I'll have the check some out. Thanks!

I got the zip codes and addresses for the resorts and punched them in to the ; geocaching.com web site and printed out the info. Alot on property though alot are virtual caches but a fun way to idle away some time around your resort.

I thought at one time there were a couple real ones inside MK. Probably archived, or I'm thinking of Disneyland. Even virtuals can be fun if there's really something to see. my virtual in Las Vegas (GC68E7)

Had planned to cache some on our last trip to Disney in Dec. But never got around to it.
