Really dumb question, but do any authorized 3rd-party ticket vendors take Disney GCs as a form of payment?

The obvious and common-sense answer is “no,” of course - you generally can only use a gift card with the vendor who originally issued the gift card.

But I thought I’d take a long shot and ask, thinking that if these 3rd-Party vendors are authorized to sell Disney tickets, then mayyyyyybe they are likewise able to take Disney GCs as payment?

The answer’s still “no,” isn’t it?

The answer is still no. They don’t want Mickey Money. They want cold, hard cash.

Well, it’s real money loaded onto those cards. Wasn’t sure if the ticket vendors could accept the GCs and then collect the real $$$ from Disney post-sale. Again, I knew it was a long shot.

Nah. There's no incentive at all for third-party vendors to increase their business expenses by accepting Disney gift cards. Plus, they have absolutely no way to veify the value of the gift cards.

Didn't the OP ask this question a few weeks ago? I could have sworn I saw it (that avatar is unique!)

No, I don’t think that was me. I’ve asked other Q’s, but as far as I can remember, this is the first time I’ve asked this particular question.

My other recent post was about 3rd-party ticket vendors who might let you split payment among multiple credit/debit cards.

I didn’t think so, but I’ve been surprised before. I thought maybe - long shot - Disney required them to accept Disney GC as part of the agreement to be ticket resellers.

No big deal. I just need to buy tix and I have a decent chunk of money on Disney GCs. I don’t want to buy tix direct from Disney because they’re more expensive, but nobody else who sells tix will take Disney GCs as payment.
