Can you use a Disney gc as part of the down payment for DVC?

We have a gc for about $200 that expires in December. If we can't use it towards DVC, we'll use it for Christmas.

Disney GCs don't expire. Are you talking about Disney Dream Dollars from your Disney Visa? They usually expire at the end of December of the year following the year you ordered the card.

In either case, you can't use a gift card for your DVC purchase.

They will take your Disney Visa and you get 0% financing for 6 months.

I called it a gc, but yes it's the Disney dream dollars from our chase account.

I know some folks talk about converting their expiring Disney Dream Dollars to a non-expiring Disney Gift Card.

I know the Dream Dollars can be used at Target to buy Disney stuff. I would go to Target and buy four $50 Disney Gift Cards and use your Disney dream dollars to buy them. Has anyone ever tried that at Target?
