Okay.. this is kind of cool, and I had to share it w/ my fellow Disneyaddicts.

Google has incorporated they keyhole mapping software w/ their search engines and you can now do a search on-line and get satellite imagery of the property you are looking for. What does this have to do w/ Disney you may ask? Well technically nothing, but!! You can type in "Lake Buena Vista" and it'll take you to a view over Epcot.

I did Old Key West for fun to see what the view look like from above and it's not that close, but it's still fun to "visit Disney" from above. The maps are a couple years old, and they don't have all of Disney property that you can zoom into, but hey.. everylittle bit helps when you need that fix huh?

Here is the link to Old Key West (I had to tie into DVC somehow!):
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=1510+N+Cove+Rd,Orlando,+FL+32830&spn=0.006158,0.009291&t=k&hl=en

The regular link is http://maps.google.com

You have to choose "map" or "sattelite" on the left side to switch between the views.

and no.. I don't work for google.. just a Disneyaholic and thought this was cool enough to share w/ everyone.

Enjoy!

Thanks for this post. I had seen something similar a while back and was actually looking for satellite imagery -- not for Disney, but elsewhere. Timing is everything!

Thanks for the great sites. They are fun to check out.

Here's a (Link) from DisneyPix.com that has pictures of all of the Disney Resorts from the air. It's not satellite, but it's pretty cool to see things as you would flying over.
