I second doing the trivia games. My family loves trivia! Many times there were only 2 groups there.

Also, on the first day, they are giving tours of the spa and they have a drawing for different spa treatments- must be present to win. Sadly, we didn't win but we had fun!

Same kind of question for us. We're in a group of families all using one family's DVC points. Will we all get lanyards?

As a DVC member make sure you go to the members presentation. You will recieve a free tote bag and white with red DVC hats. In your room should be a gift box with 2 lanyards. If you need more hats or lanyards just ask and they will get them for you.

If you don't have the box and lanyards in your room ask and DVC will get then to you.

On the Wonder we did not get the print but did get nice white caps with red. I will try and post a Pic of the hats. Theis were given out at the DVC member meeting.

On our last cruise DH went to the DVC meeting and won the $300 onboard credit! Also if you stop by the DVC desk they give out pins and buttons.

Thanks for the info. We are family of five and wondering if we would all get a lanyard. Are the lanyards good for holding your room key? My kids are old enough that they will probably be on their own for a little bit and I gave them charging privileges

While the OP sharing about only DVC members getting lanyards is correct. One cruise we shared with them that DSister and BIL were with us and they gave them lanyards as well. Just depends if they have extra's with them.

It was just fun to be recognized and given something like a pin (different every day). The smile I had was worth more than the pin. Still have them. Won't trade them for anything. Also, still wear the DVC hats everywhere. And, they are three years old.

The important question though is - how have the towels been? Any buyer's remorse?

I have wondered about this myself. I do have a shirt from there, bought it in Sept 2009, still in wonderful like new condition and I love it!

We bought the sheets when we were on a RCCL cruise. We love them so much we take them off, wash them, and put them back on.

We are DVC members. We sailed to Alaska on the Wonder paid with cash. We did not receive anything DVC in our stateroom, but we went to one of the presentations and walked away with a hat, lanyards, and the above shown bag. No pins or print.
