Disney freebies!!

I remember reading somewhere that the bride and groom got Disney watches as a gift from Disney weddings.

Does anyone know if Disney still give out freebies?

If so, does it apply to both the wishes and escape weddings?

On the website all it says is the Wishes weddings get the freebies, like the watches and annual passes. I read somewhere on another thread that Escape weddings get the passes but not the watches.

I was just an escape bride in June and I did receive the his and hers watches.

Technically it's not really a surprise. Disney has it right on their website that they are apart of the package when having a Disney wedding.

Really? I remember this used to be something secret and a faux pas to talk about on the board.

They are white gold looking with some yellow gold trimming and Cinderella's Castle on the face in yellow gold.

Yeah, that's actually how I found out we were getting all that stuff. Pretty neat, though.

We got our annual passes about a month after we sent back our signed contract. It came when we got the countersigned contract fedexed to us.

The watches were sitting at our sweetheart table when we got to the reception.

I agree!!!
These are hardly free. You pay for them (probably several times over) within your package price.

They're both the same except for size. The mens watch is manly, my DH loved his. He's a watch guy.

Yes! My DH loved it and I was meh about it. I'm not a watch person. He keeps hounding me to get it sized so he can wear it. I keep forgetting lol.

We just got married and DH loved his, (so did I). The bands are very large in order to fit everyone, so we both need many links taken out before we can wear them!
We received them at our reception dinner. Our planner left a DFTW gift bag and inside were the two watches as well as the Just Married buttons
