Is there a thread specifically for fathers to share their ideas? Point me there. Otherwise, I'm starting it.

While the whole family experience is priority, I am looking for places and experiences where dads have the most fun. My wife always shares ideas from the board. After going last summer, now I have lots to contribute now, and am looking for father with similar experiences.

For example, I think all dads need to get their picture taken on the speeder bike outside the Star Wars experience.

Hmmm...

There is a Harley Davidson place in Downtown Disney.

Then there is

Fishing excursions, Richard Petty Driving Experience, Golf, and Parasailing: See: www.buildabettermousetrip.com/Activities.html

Then there is getting a haircut at the Barber Shop on Mainstreet at Magic Kingdom.

This is a great thread...too bad it didn't take off. I like the Star Wars ride too. We're doing a cruise in January and WDW in April so I'll be on the lookout for more great Dad things.

Also, I have a question for everyone. I'm on a WPASADI team (the game may be annoying you all with the number of posts about it) and we need guys to "cast" in a parody of a TV show that we're writing. We just need DISers to agree to let us use their DIS names. If anyone is willing to do it, send me a PM and I'll give you more details. Thanks.

Face it, not many men here. I guess WERE the minority.
My "dad list"

FIREWORKS!!!
FIREWORKS!!!
Illuminations (more FIREWORKS!!!)
People watching...:cool2: Especially interesting near Kali River Rapids:eek: ...
(Its amazing what some women will wear under a thin white dress on a water ride...)
FOOD... St Louis ribs at Flametree... Your backyard grilling never tasted as good!
(trip down) Racing on I-95
(trip down) Radar gun... You gotta have one for your car. See how long you can torment people with radar detectors. Pick out one person in an real hurry who has a radar detector and dont let them go over 55MPH... See how long they will fall for it... (one of our drive down customs. Its more fun than you can imagine)
(inside the parks) JEALOUSY GAMES... BABY HOLDING!!! (your baby has to be adorable for this to work. Some babies really arent that cute despite what their parents think... Ive seen some UGLY babies :rotfl2: ) Heres how its done... Say you have a newborn girl... fix her up in a very cute dress and ears like... say Minnie... then wait for momma to get on a ride, and just lift her up out of the babyseat and watch the girls flock all around you to see the baby. When she steps off the ride, her husband is surrounded by women. Then just grin over to your wife and give her the "What???" look. The more you do it, the better the results. But dont OVER do it... :headache:

My husband's favs

-taking a whole day to sit poolside and 'tip back a few' and/or control the tv remote in the nice air-conditioned room while I take the kids to the parks
-ESPN for lunch
-MGM...TOT, RnRC

I'm not a dad, but my DH is:). Last week he asked me to book him the Around the World Segway tour at Epcot for our upcoming trip. I'm so happy that he found something at the World for just him! I got on the phone immediately and booked it:D. I used the Disney Visa and got a discount, too.

Segway tour... Hmmmmmmmm I need to look into that. i wonder if the price has gone down any yet. Last I checked it was WAAAY up there. Id love to do that.
