I confess..I've never had that. It's kinda scary....it's snail in a garlic sauce? How to you eat it? Do you chew them or slide them down whole like oysters?

Honestly the snails themselves are secondary. The puff pastry is delicious and the sauce is incredible.... buttery, garlicy, a bit of lemon. I'd eat just about anything in that sauce. But yes, I just cut it in half and ate it with the pastry.
