They were taken in mid-July. I'm pretty sure the strip loin and ribs are there all the time. If you don't have a car and are concerned about the travel time to AKL, catch a cab! It really isn't that expensive and you are on vacation!

To answer the PP about the ribs. They are served on Wednsday & Saturday I know that rotation by heart. I love the ribs. Only go to Boma' when the ribs are on the menu.

Actually I was quoting a picture at a CS meal but since we're not allowed to quote with pics on this thread it can make it confusing .

Yeah, that's exactly how the CS meal came to us - guess how many times we had to go buy and utilize a snack credit AFTER DINNER!

Sure can be confusing.

As for children's meals, especially at the resorts where they are so boring and ordinary, we find that ordering appetizers or sharing an adult entree works for our grandchildren. They are quite adventerous eaters and will try just about anything.

I can imagine! I was a stick thin kid and hardly ate anything but even 3 chicken nuggets, a handful of fries, and a little bag of grapes would have me hungry in an hour!

Incredible photographs all!! There's one in here of LTT's Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake that made me go get the recipe. I have it cooking in the oven as we speak! Hope it's even half as good as it looks.

J.C.&ALI'SMOM - just curious if your pics from Boma are recent? If so, what day did you go on? I am trying to sell the Boma buffet to those I'm going with. The food is not the issue, it's the travel time over to the AKL. If the ribs and roast beef are on the menu when we go, then I'd have some happy family members.

We did Boma 2x when we were there in January. We also had 2 very picky eaters with us. All of us enjoyed it enough to return again. They didn't have the ribs when we ate there but they did have the steak and it was yummy. I would take the time to go there.

I think I used the shutter setting, since I really prefer that crisp clean look it gives, but to tell you the truth it was back in January/February and I was so new to the camera that I was tweaking the settings pretty regularly. Do you know if they also have butternut squash soup on those nights? I could happily dive into a vat of that stuff. If I had ribs AND the soup, I'd be in heaven.
