I know that our West Coast food selection does not stack up to WDWs but we do have some that are tasty. Can't wait to contribute after 10 days of eating @ WDW in August.

I'm from California, and I used to go to Disneyland all the time. I miss those Monte Cristo sandwiches and the mint juleps! Have fun on your trip to WDW!

gillenkl, we'll be getting one of these in September to supplement the spaghetti dinner we'll be cooking at our Villa at Wilderness Lodge. Looks like it's a white and dark meat combo...I may have to smack everyone away from my dark meat! :lmao:

Were you able to just walk up and order this and get it right away or did you have a wait? (are you even albe to 'call in' an order?) We're trying to coordinate pick up time as well as figure out the fast yet convenient way to get over there from Wilderness Lodge.

thanks for any light you can shed on this subject.....

.

Gillenkl, was the trails end chicken meal good?? It looks good. But, sometimes looks can be decieving. :goodvibes

The Trails End chicken is great - in fact on our last night there we ordered a smaller size version - but I couldn't get a picture because my family of vultures dug in too fast.

You order and it takes 15 or so minutes. We were usually there right at 4:30 when it opened. You can't call in takeout from Trails End.

Tony's: Caesar salad (we split 2 between four of us, so this is a half portion)

Im really upset right now!!!

Ive seen so many yummy pics of food from Wolfgang Puck Express and I just checked their menu and it seems they took a lot of stuff off????

:confused3

We ate at Wolfgang Puck's Express twice last week, and their menu is pretty extensive. It was hard to choose!!! Don't worry, you will find something yummy there. Everything we had was top notch great!!!!

This is the Grilled New York Strip Steak I had. Very good but better Steak at Yak and Yeti

This is the lobster ravioli my hubs had. He said it was fine. I tried it and it was good. He liked mine more.

It was pretty good. Nothing special, but good. I can't figure out what makes it Asian though.

I was looking forward to trying the sandwiches that look like theyre wrapped in pizza crust? lol sounds funny.. hard to explain.. might be the focaccia sandwiches and i didnt see them on the most recent menu as of 6/09.

and i dont see breakfast anymore.

boooooo. "Wolfgang Sucks" *pouts*

The Wolfgang on the major side of DD has the extensive menu and the one on the ?West Side (the side by Disney Quest) has a limited menu. We just ate at the one on the shopping side and they had all the focaccia sandwiches including the barbeque chicken sandwiches and pizza. The sandwiches, pizza, pasta and chicken are very very good. DH had the rosemary chicken and didn't think it was the best, I had the bbq chicken sandwich and thought is was not the best but DH loved it. We switched and were both happy in the end. I have never had anything I would call bad or inedible there. We liked it so well, we ate there twice.

Would any of you happen to know what the featured dish is called on the Sanaa page of disneyworld.com? It looks great, and I'd like to try it on our next trip. I hope it's vegetarian :).

Sorry I can't insert the full link but here it is...
