Would any of you happen to know what the featured dish is called on the Sanaa page of disneyworld.com? It looks great, and I'd like to try it on our next trip. I hope it's vegetarian :).

Sorry I can't insert the full link but here it is...

Thanks for your help.

It actually looks a lot like the maize crusted halibut I had at Jiko:

which by the way was wonderful! :goodvibes

They do look similar. That's funny, I can't find that dish listed on the Sanaa menu. If they have it, though, I'll try it. Thanks for the recommendation. :goodvibes

You're welcome! We will be looking forward to your pictures from Sanaa! :goodvibes

I am looking for a photo of the grapefruit cake at the Brown Derby??

I like pictures like this one! Your at Walt Disney World! THIS is how you're supposed to look in pictures! THIS girl looks happy to be on vacation.;)
Like they say... your on vacation... alert your face!:rotfl:

I like this one of my DW.... Even if it's not a very flattering picture of her... (She's much nicer looking in real life!) Its the humor of the shot we were after.

(Yeah... I'm a bit behind on the thread. I have 10 pages preloaded. I'll be caught up again in about 30 minutes!!!):happytv:

I have a Sept trip booked and deposit paid. If the phone rings enough we will have a LOT of pictures to contribute in about 3 months. If it continues as it has for the past 2 months we will have to cancel. It's not looking good for our Sept trip.:sad1:

It is Scotch Eggs. The hard boiled egg is wrapped in sausage and then coated in bread crumbs and deep fried.

Every time I look at this thread I gain five pounds. :rotfl2: I can't wait to get there and take some pictures to show.

I'm full from our dinner but I could eat both of those right now. These are two of my favorite items at Y&Y. Throw in the ribs and that is my favorite dinner there! Well maybe get some pot stickers too and share everything.

I agree..I had read about the lettuce cups here (where else??) and we loved them. I had the Tamarind Chicken and that was my least favorite part of the meal. I will have to try the ribs next time I guess. (DH had the shrimp and that was really good too)

You may want to share the ribs with someone though because there are plenty! I'm not a rib fan at all. The only reason I ordered them was because my husband couldn't decide between the Crispy Mahi Mahi and the ribs - so I got the ribs since I don't eat fish. My husband highly recommends the Crispy Mahi Mahi as well.

Caught up again!:yay:
What exactly was this? I've never heard of this one. What was the stuff around the eggs? Was it good?

Yes, as MosMom said it is sausage around a hard boiled egg and deep fried. I didn't have any (vegetarian) but DH did and he really liked it! He never had one before but thought it was delicious. He would definitely recommend it.
