momof2disprincesses your pictures are awesome, and I LOVE the little Mickey in all of them!!:happytv:

momof2disprincesses,

Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos! I like the little Mickey -- he's cute, plus he's a good reference when checking out how large the portions are!:rotfl: Also, I like how you "decorated" your breakfast "face" plate!:)

We had lunch at 50's PTC in HS. This was the day before my birthday, so we celebrated that.

I had the haddock fish sandwich. Now I'm from WI (home of the Friday night fish fry) and haddock is my fish of choice, but this was not nearly as good.

We also have a "Friday Night Fish Fry" here in Western NY and it is also Haddock. Maybe that's why I didn't like the fish at Rose & Crown or Raglan Road. The cod just seemed rubbery to me since I am used to nice flaky Haddock!

Pictures from last week...I miss you Disney!

Pop Century Food Court.

Steak Wrap & Fries:
IMG_1150Small.jpg

The wrap was HUGE. It had 3 pieces of cheese on it, which in my opinion is too much cheese (despite it being cheese made about 20 miles from our house in Minnesota! I was shocked at the brand!). I know, I know, shame on me, someone who doesn't like cheese too much!! I am sure if you like cheese, you will enjoy this...I would have liked some onions and peppers on it, but it was just meat and cheese. But, otherwise, good. Served by an excellent and very friendly CM too!

Pepperoni Pizza:

DH loved every bite. DS also had a few bites and enjoyed them.

I will have lots more and add them slowly as I get them uploaded.

28 days until I will be at Disney. I cant wait and this thread is making me even more excited. Keep the pictures coming!!!!

I just wanted to thank everyone for posting their food pics! :goodvibes

I'm getting hungry just looking at them.

Here are pics from the Pepper Market at Coronado Springs ... the best CS deal at Disney!

If you've never been here before, basically it is like a Mexican open air market. They have various stations and you are seated at a table where a server takes your drink order. You then go to any station you like and order food. Sometimes they prepare it right in front of you, sometimes it takes awhile and you're told when to come back. When you order from a station, they mark your "meal ticket" and when you're finished eating, you go to the cashier to pay.

Here are the specials, which shows some of the stations:

This is the bakery/dessert menu & offerings: As you can see, many items were snack credits on the ddp!

Samples from the Italian section. Our kids were not with us on this trip, but they would have LOVED this section:

Now, here is our food:

I had milk to drink. It was good but I did regret this decision later. It was so small and there were no refills allowed. Plus they brought it out when we first sat down and since we ordered well-done steaks, it was like 20-25 min. until our food was ready and my milk was quite warm by then. Next time, I'd get soda or lemonade.

Florida-MomsBirthday-157.jpg

DH and I both got the ribeye steak with baked potato and veggies. It was HUGE and the most expensive thing on the menu:

Florida-MomsBirthday-164.jpg

I got the apple turnover for dessert. It was just "okay." I had dessert envy of DH.

Florida-MomsBirthday-167.jpg

Here is DH's dessert. It was one of the specialty ice cream desserts. It was like apple pie ala mode:

Florida-MomsBirthday-168.jpg

Then we got 2 cinnamon rolls for breakfast the next day. These were snack credits.

Florida-MomsBirthday-169.jpg

We are huge condiment users, so we thought this cart-o-condiments was funny, so we took a picture of it:

Florida-MomsBirthday-162.jpg

This is the most expensive CS at Disney. Our dinner (which was just 2 CS credits) would have cost $60.69. Our 2 cinnamon rolls (which were 2 snack credits would have been $8.42). They add on like a 10% service charge here due to a server waiting on you, but that was included with the ddp.

Breakfast at Boma. A favorite of ours!

Florida-MomsBirthday-171.jpg

The mini omelets were good. So was the cinnamon raisin french toast!

A special treat for my bday:

Dinner at LTT. We had to do it one more time before they take away the characters. :sad2:

The best rolls & butter in all of WDW and salad, presented again of course by our friend Mickey:

Meat, gravy & mac & cheese:

Veggies & mashed potatoes:

My b-day dessert. This was surprisingly really yummy! I preferred it over the normal dessert.

The normal dessert:

This is the candy DH and I got from the Halloween party on Sept. 12.

Florida-MomsBirthday-197.jpg

We went back to MNSSHP with our kids and friends on Halloween night too. Our family of 4 got probably quadruple this amount of candy in the above picture. They were just dumping it in our bags. When we got home, we put it all into popcorn bowls according to "kind" (you know, chocolate, sucky candy, sour, etc.). We filled up 6 large popcorn bowls full of candy!

We've been giving it away to everyone we know (we probably used up half of it at my work). We are now down to 1 popcorn bowl full. We hope to get rid of the rest of it when family comes next week for Thanksgiving.

Our lunch at Beaches & Cream. This was on a Saturday right at 11am as they opened. We were the first customers of the day so we thought it would be fun to have a picture of the empty restaurant.

Florida-MomsBirthday-199.jpg

We each got the cherry syrup added cokes. So sweet & delicious!

Florida-MomsBirthday-200.jpg

I got the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings (LOVE those onion rings!):

Florida-MomsBirthday-201.jpg

DH got the double bacon cheeseburger and fries.

Florida-MomsBirthday-202.jpg

For dessert, DH got the fudge mud slide:

Florida-MomsBirthday-203.jpg

And I got my favorite dessert in all of WDW ... the banana split ... messy, ooey, gooey goodness!!!!!!!!!!

Florida-MomsBirthday-204.jpg

Here are pics from our trip #2 to Wolfgang Puck Express.

This time I got the chicken strips and seasoned fries.

Florida-MomsBirthday-258.jpg

DH got the same turkey hero he had the first time. He really loved this!

Florida-MomsBirthday-259.jpg

We had the same dessert as the first trip here - the frozen yogurt with cookie on top.

Here is the b-day gift basket DH ordered for me. It was supposed to come with fruit and other stuff, but he requested it be filled with all chocolate! I love him!!!!!

Florida-MomsBirthday-005.jpg

This is from our dinner at Wolfgang Puck Express (the sit-down restaurant on the west side of DTD):

Bread and dipping oil:

Florida-MomsBirthday-013.jpg

This is the flat iron steak with onion strings and fries. It was delicious!!!!!!!

Florida-MomsBirthday-012.jpg

This is the macadamia nut encrusted chicken. DH and I did "half and half" where we each ate half of each of these meals.

We both agreed the steak was good, but this chicken was superb! I think it was my favorite meal of our trip. I would highly recommend it.

It's funny, the only reason I ordered it was the person at the table next to us had it when we were seated and I asked the server what it was because it looked so good. Thank you kind stranger for ordering this so I was tempted to try it!

Florida-MomsBirthday-014.jpg

For dessert we also did "half and half". This was the mud pie. It was ice cream pie basically and it was good, but the other one I'll show next was the best!

Florida-MomsBirthday-015.jpg

This was the key lime pie. It was literally the first time either DH or I ever had this kind of pie. He ordered it on a whim. We were really full and decided if it tasted bad, we just wouldn't eat it all, but we did want to try it.

We ate every LAST morsel. It was heavenly!!!

Florida-MomsBirthday-016.jpg

Momof2disprincesses- Is that a Churro in your bunch of Pepper Market pics? If so, did they offer melted chocolate with it?

Here are some shots from our all-time favorite snack place at WDW - Goofy's Candy Shop in downtown Disney (Marketplace).

My very tall DH took this shot OVER the glass where they make your personalized treats:

Florida-MomsBirthday-019.jpg

Here's my personalized treat:

Florida-MomsBirthday-021.jpg

Here is DH's - oreo dipped in milk chocolate and rolled in butterfinger and drizzled with white chocolate:

Florida-MomsBirthday-022.jpg

Since I love WDW rice krispy treats, I wanted a shot of this GIANT one:

Florida-MomsBirthday-020.jpg

DH and I got and ate these treats while on our trip, but since we didn't bring our kids along this time, we saved up some snack credits and the day we went home we stopped here again and got 5 more of these personalized treats - one for us, one for each of our 2 daughter's and one for my daughter's boyfriend who hasn't been to Disney in like 10 years (poor guy!). Of course they LOVED us sharing these treats and we wound up using 7 of our 14 snack credits on these treats. :cool1:
