we had tom, too! he was great. we learned he was from hawaii and when we asked what brought him to florida, he just smiled. so one of my friends said, "it was a girl, wasn't it?" and he said it was! :rotfl:

yay lots of good new pics!

Quacktatty - where was the bounty platter (breakfast) from? Sorry if I missed it.

Raglan Rd- Shepard's Pie, Mixed grill (tons o' meat), bread with evoo and Guiness, Bread Pudding (sooo good), Dunbrody's Kiss

Chefs de France
Short Ribs with pasta, Veggie LAsagna (the menu did not list a sauce and server told me there wasn't one, just cheeses, veggies, and thin pasta. ended up with bad Italian), Profiteroles, Apple Crepes
The bread at RR is the best ever!!!!

ds143 I LOVE the noodle/chicken bowl at Captain Cooks. I probably ate it 5 times the last time I stayed at the Poly. We are going back in March but staying at the Boardwalk. We plan to make a trip over to get one!

He is quite the well traveled man - he used to live in CT in the same town as me!

I think you can get it most any resort CS, but this one in particular was from Mara at AKL. It's not posted on any of the online menus that I have seen, but it was on the menu at the food court!

was the chocolate sauce on the France dessert profiteroles supposed to be cold? i thought it would have been so much better if it was warm.

quacktatty, great pics! those flavor burst waffle cones were sooo yummy! i had the orange one. that is on my must have snack list now.

that apple from Goofy's sure looks great! The caramel apples i have had at DHS were just plain caramel -so i could get it as a snack, and they were amazing! unlike any caramel apple at home! I may have to get one of these candy coated ones though! wow! thanks for sharing the pics!

The following photos were taken on December 4, 2008:

From Cosmic Rays: Some sort of wrap with chips, chocolate cake and a Sprite, and Chicken nuggets with grapes, chocolate cake and an iced cappucino. Pickles were from the fixin's bar.

Wow! Was that wrap huge or is it just me?!?!

Filete Motuleno - Grilled beef tenderloin with beans, Oaxaco melted cheese, Ranchero sauce, Pablano peppers, and fried plaintain.
This was FANTASTIC. The filet was was so very tender and the plaintains were firm, not mushy. The combination of the beans, cheese and Ranchero sauce was perfect.

Flan de Vainilla - vanilla custard in syrup, topped with roasted almonds. My friend had this. I'm not a flan fan.

Capirotada de Chocolate Blanco - white chocolate golden raisin bread pudding served with Mexican milk caramel.
OH. MY. This is just....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Italy - Beverage Stand

Italian Margarita - margarita mix, limoncello, grappa.
This is my friend Missy enjoying it. I got to have a sip. Going forward, though, it will be my Epicot drink of choice.
DSCN0728.jpg

Peach Bellini - champagne and real peach puree
I thought this was nummy but kind of would've like more. Hence the sip of the Margarita. ;)
