I don't smoke, drink or do drugs.......I post on the DIS. Everyone has to have some vice in their life. :lmao:

Thanks everyone!! I finally got my baby boy......now we can buy the pirate stuff!!!! pirate: :woohoo:

When I got home with the photos, I sent out some emails to family then came here to add the picture to my signature so I could share the news with all my DIS friends.

Again, thanks!!!

:thumbsup2

I just saw this!! Wow, I didn't know you were about to become a Dad, apostolic4life. Congratulations on having a healthy, adorable little boy. I hope he likes being in the kitchen more than mine did because a man who can cook is a real catch in my books. This is such exciting news :thumbsup2

Pan Asian Noodles - Asian egg noodles with sliced chicken, pineapple, seasonal vegetables, and a housemade sweet and sour sauce
disneyworld2008016.jpg

DD (vegetarian) liked this dish but said she wished it had more noodles

I picked up the recipe for this at Kona but it doesn't include all that pineapple. Was it just a garnish or was it stir-fried along wit the veggies?

Recipe is on the Disney Recipe Exchange.

Carrie - A little OT here but I just have to say your wedding pictures are amazing and beautiful! Two questions: did you get married IN Epcot and HOW did you do that?

Yes! We were married in Morocco, had our reception above JellyRolls at the BoardWalk, and then had a dessert party in the UK at Epcot.

It's really easy! Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings department does almost everything for you - all you have to is pick out fun stuff like cake and flowers and food and, of course, write a check :rotfl: You can get married almost anywhere in the World Showcase for the same site fee as resort locations like Sea Breeze Point (the gazebo between BoardWalk Inn and Beach Club).

Come visit us on the Disney Weddings & Honeymoons Board... you will be converted....:lmao:

lurkyloo - Your pics have my DH drooling, he's a scallop lover and had them at FF, CG and JIKO. We're also going to Bistro for the first time next trip and can't wait!!!!!!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Oh good - I thought you guys might think we were weird for ordering scallops so much! :rotfl:

Ditto! Your wedding was gorgeous, and your photos were amazing! I LOVE Morroco. Ya think DH would do it again, seventeen years later??? LOL
Thanks for sharing your awesome food pics, and your beautiful wedding.

Hey, thanks! You know, Disney offers vow renewals with all the same trimmings as a wedding... :rolleyes1

ITA! WOW, amazing pictures!

:goodvibes Thanks! Also, I like Gary Sinise too....

Anyway, the online menus state just pancakes on the Big Kahuna. So I guess you can substitute Macadamia-Pineapple without a problem???

That's weird... it actually comes with Macadamia-Pineapple - I had to ask to substitute regular pancakes cuz I don't like pineapple! :cutie:

More honeymoon food pix to come...

OK, I hope this isn't cheating, but I thought I'd post some pix of our wedding food 'cuz our photographers did such a great job... The food came from the BoardWalk Inn Convention Center kitchen and Epcot's kitchen, and the cake came from the Grand Floridian bakery, so I think that counts.

I'd love to but...... I think I need to find a husband first!:rotfl:

I'm divorced, but I've swore to my daughters that if I ever get married again, I'm having a wedding at Disney! Yours looked beautiful!

Can't wait to see more of your food posts.

Hey lurkyloo, your wedding looks gorgeous! How fun to have your reception above JR's!!! I didn't realize there was an upstairs!
*insert jealousy here* :)

BEAUTIFULL PICTURES...I have just asked my hubby for quicky divorce so we could have my dream fairy tale wedding....he turns me down.....

LURKYLOO- beautiful wedding photo's. I would love to have a vow renewal for our 25th. this year but, unfortunately we are unable to make our trip to WDW this year. Maybe (hopefully) next year? Think I'll mosey on over to the weddings boards, maybe get a few ideas. Thanks for sharing your wedding pictures and great food pictures. ;)

Lurkyloo, Gorgeous pics! The food looks amazing; I may have to go to brunch this weekend...:)

Congrats on your marriage!

Ah... no groom, eh? Then what you need is a Quinceañera! :rotfl:

Hey lurkyloo, your wedding looks gorgeous! How fun to have your reception above JR's!!! I didn't realize there was an upstairs!

It's called The Attic, and it was originally a DVC member lounge. But I guess because it's so far from the lobby of BoardWalk Inn nobody used it, and it became a private event space.

 You can always do a Vow Renewal! :)

How was the food at Yak & Yeti?

Meh.... the Mahi Mahi with "Cantonese sweet and sour sauce" tasted like Gorton's fish sticks in sweet ketchup. The pot stickers were OK, but overall it felt like a ripoff (plus they don't give a DDE discount, and the AP discount is like 10% off up to 4 entrees only, or something. Boo!)

Oh no......we were thinking of trying Y&Y and the Mahi was what I was planning on. May have to go to Rainforest Cafe.
