This is the ice cream sandwich from the Main Street Bakery. Two big cookies and 3 scoops of ice cream. YUM!

The Sticky Mickey at the Concourse Steakhouse. I heard from a CM while I was there (August 2007) that the menu would just move over to The Wave. I have no idea how accurate that information is.

Beignets from the food court at POFQ.

Chocolate milkshake from Beaches and Cream. :goodvibes

Bethany... those are DIVINE! I knew you just had to post a beignet pic!!!

Now, did you get that milkshake black and white? You know, vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup?

Aww, thanks. Yeah, you know me and my beignets. Blame it on a friend who INSISTED I go out of my way to POFQ on the Disney bus system to try them. She created a monster!

Errr...I believe Beaches and Cream makes their milkshakes from the actual ice cream that you choose. I think my friend had a mint chocolate chip milkshake and I'm pretty sure they used that flavor of ice cream. And the milkshakes there are really thick...like ice cream so I don't think they are mixed. :confused3

How spicy is the spicy cheese pretzel? I like spicy food but not TOO spicy. But it looks REALLY good!

not that spicy... i dont like spicy food much, but i tried this because i love the cheese u can get from supermarket with the chillis through it and thought it might be similar.

it was lovely!

Did they change what you can get as a snack credit on DDP this year? When they posted the new rules for the plan it looked like they were going to be more strict about items you could get for snack credit. :confused3 I hope they kept it the same ( anything under $4). TIA

Been writing up our Bistro de Paris gluttony report and thought I would post this tidbit over here too....

Croquant aux pmmes, Mikado a la cannelie, sorbet a la pomme
bistrodeparis032108-013.jpg

Apple crisp, cinnamon “Mikado”, apple sorbet

On the left is cinnamon “Mikado”, These delectible "twigs" were great....almost like eating a cinnamon nilla wafer, dipped in chocolate.

In the middle is the Apple Crisp offering. The apples were perfectly cooked...al dente, and NOT mushy.....wonderful.

The Apple Sorbet? :faint: Imagine this is you will....A cool, crisp autumn afternoon, strolling in an apple orchard with someone you love.....you stumble upon a granny smith apple tree brimming with fruit.....you pick the most perfect looking orb from the tree.....bringing it to your lips....you bite into it your teeth piercing the fruit's skin.....the sweet and tangy juices of the apple running down your chin.....heaven....

YUMMY!

We are trying 3 new places this fall - does anyone have any photos?

Ragland Road - dinner
Le Cellier - lunch
Yak & Yeti - lunch

Thanks!

Quickie questions - has anyone had the Caprese sandwich from EOS? Did you take a picture of it if you did? Was it good?

We're going to try EOS on our first day at WDW in AUgust - it'll be a first for us. TIA!!:cool1:

How much does the "skillet" set you back? It looks wonderful. Is it for for a family of 8?

I believe the skillet is around $24/person. They gage the size they bring out on the number of people who order it. But it is as much as you want to eat. They will bring out extras of whatever you ask for.
