I think I had a double scoop (pistachio/chocolate) every day I was in Rome on my 2 trips!

Me too, the pistachio ice cream in Rome is so amazing, I was having the pistachio/chocolate combo once (or twice!) a day the whole 5 days we were there!

Those ribs at Flame Tree BBQ look soooooooo yummy!!

Corn -dog is a hot dog wrapped in breading and either deep fried or baked.

Just had to correct some of my information here......did some fact checking this morning because on my post from last night I wasn't 100% sure I attributed quinoa to the proper culture. As it turns out I was incorrect about the culture........it was the Incas, not the Aztecs. I love food history as well as the food itself, so I just wanted to make sure I passed along the correct info!

Just to add to the trivia...quinoa is actually a seed, not a grain. It contain all of the eight essential amino acids required by the body, in near perfect proportions. And its super yummy!

I am pretty sure the ones at Disney are not meat-free, but you can buy Morningstar brand in the freezer section and they are made of veggie-dogs instead of meat hot-dogs.

Does anyone have a picture of the "crispy petite chicken" from the California Grill? I would love to eat there but I'm a pretty picky eater...not very adventurous. This sounds like the most normal thing on the menu but I would love to see a pic of it.

No pic, but I had the pork tenderloin, and it was really good too!!! Nothing strange about it, but I'm not sure what the name of the dish was. It came with polenta, and I didn't know what that was, but it was like cheesy mashed potatoes.

There are veggie corn dogs out there (they sell frozen veggie ones at Trader Joes), but usually they're meat-based.
