I HAVE PLANNED OUR ENTIRE TRIP FOR THIS DECEMBER. MY 8 YEAR OLD WON'T KNOW TILL HE COMES HOME FROM SCHOOL THE NIGHT WE LEAVE. HE WILL BE SO SURPRISED SINCE HE THINKS WE'RE GOING NEXT SUMMER. I HAVE DOWNLOADED THE JOURNAL PAGES FOR HIM TO TAKE WITH US.

LIKE I SAID I HAVE PLANNED EVERYTHING AND SAWABOUT THE DISNEY FLORIST THAT DELIVERS ITEMS TO YOUR ROOM. I WOULD LIKE TO SURPRISE MY HUSBAND AND SON WITH A GIFT BASKET. THEY HAVE A SMALL COOLER FILLER WITH SNACKS THAT I WAS THINKING ABOUT HAVING DELIVERED TO THE ROOM AND WAITING FOR US. ANYBODY DO THIS AND HOW DID IT WORK OUT? THANKS ALOT.

I have Disney Florist twice, both times they did beautiful baskets for my kids.
Dont feel like you have to be stuck with whatever baskets they have on their webpage. They will add or delete anything you want from them. They were really helpful in creating something for my 3 kids.
Dont get your heart set on having the basket in your room though when you check-in. Deliveries are not usaully made until the late afternoon/early evening so it might depend on when you check-in. Neither time was the basket in our room when we checked-in but someone from the front desk would bring it up when it arrived (I believe it was around 5pm)

We have used Disney Florist on both of our last two trips. Usually they deliver the package to the Hotel in the afternoon and they bring them to you. As far as having it waiting for you in your room thats a tough one. Even though your room is preassigned a lot can happen, so you should get it shortly after you get there as LONG AS YOU REMIND THE FRONT DESK!!.
Our favorite was the snack pack that came in old fashioned beach type tote with wooden handles. We have also gotten the one in a wire shaped Mickey Head but that was hard to get home and we kept puncturing ourselves on the wire ends.

The florist can't send a card saying its from any of the characters, but they can say "Welcome to Disneyworld".

THANKS FOR THE IDEAS AND PICTURE. THEY WERE GREAT. IT MIGHT EVEN BE BETTER IF THEY DELIVERED IT TO US AFTER WE GET THERE.
