Disney Finger Scan Upgrades

When I was there a couple of weeks ago only MK had them. They are much easier to use.

Disney representatives said the technology does not store the entire fingerprint image and scanned information is purged in 30 days

This does not make sense, if they are purged in 30 days does that mean anyone can use the ticket/pass after that?
