My room-mate and I were wanting to put together a list of films for his boyfriend as sort of a primer for WDW, as he wasn't a big Disney film fan and some references are unknown to him in the parks. Here is what I came up with, I had fun thinking of references and what films he should watch just to get a good Disney background.

This is your Disney homework. I have made a list of some good films, but mostly I have listed films that have references to things in the parks. In the Disney Animated Movies section as you watch you will notice watching these the themes of magic, wishing, and Love’s First Kiss, and the heart’s desire (themes that make up the magic of Disney).

* A favorite of Mine

Disney Animated Movies
*Snow White (so you know where it started as a sense of History, and the Evil Queen*, a lot in parks)
Cinderella (as it is huge in the Parks)
Sleeping Beauty (for Princess background info, plus Prince Philip* and Maleficent*)
*Little Mermaid (a lot in the parks)

Dear Lord, if he watched all of those he wouldnt be ready for a Disney trip till 2015! :laughing:

Thanks for the Primer Ken! I have to admit, I haven't seen many Disney films. My love for Disney comes from the parks. I was just thinking I should watch more Disney movies before my next trip. Time to put my Netflix subscription to work!!

That is why I put it out there so someone else might get some use out of it. Don't you love what I can put together when procrastinating at work???? :-)
