Disney Files frustration!!

So way back in early July I contacted MS about not receiving the summer issue of the disney files. They told me to wait another couple of weeks because they do not get mailed out all at once. So I waited, contacted them again and they said they were not sure what happened, everything on my online account notes i should be receiving stuff in the mail. They said they would mail it out and i should see it in 6-8 weeks. So last week was the 8 week mark. I again contacted MS, they could see the initial request, but were not sure why i never received it. So again they put in a request and i need to wait another 6 weeks to receive it. I was told to call and speak to someone for online membership website help -- they told me that if i opted out of mailings for with ABC or ESPN websites that it could affect my disney site.I know i have never been on ESPN, but possible ABC and even at that most likely I have not. Crazy.

Are you kidding me!!!? In this day and age why on earth does it take DVC 3 months to mail me something. I know i can get it online, but just because the summer issue had olaf on the cover I know my 3yo daughter would have loved to see it in hand.

I had the same issue for the Spring Files, contacted them and had it in hand in one week. I'm guessing i just got lucky.

We haven't received any Disney Files this year. I don't know why. I finally decided it was pretty much old news anyway I can look at it online.

To the OP, I would download it and print at least the cover for your DD. You are right she will love it.

I am sure there are many other members that have not received them. I am sure some people do not care if they get it, but if our member fees pay for this then i will be sure to get my copy. I have refused to look at it online, but i guess i will have to cave to look at the old news that i missed out on.

They mail ours out international to the UK can you believe arrives like clockwork yet they will not send other mailings due to 'we have a policy not to send internationally' go figure!

Due to timeshare/real estate selling laws, they are limited on what they can send where.

Mine just arrived today. It was funny because I literally just tried today at lunch time to read the PDF version and it wouldn't work. Later in the day I check the mail, voila. Disney Files Magazine.

I caved and went on to just print it up, because obviously i will never actually receive my summer copy and poof another problem!! It won't load the PDF so not only can i not receive it in the mail I am not able to even see it online. Could just be my work computer. I think this Disney Files is my nemesis - otherwise I have no other complaints about my membership or the encounters that i have had with MS.

Try it again, I think their server is a little slow. I tried it one day and it wouldn't load, but tried again the following day and it came up just fine and was able to save it to my iPad. Of course we got our hard copy in the mail the next day.

We no longer receive our magazines either, OP. And we didn't get our new member cards until I called multiple times. I have no idea what has happened. We got them for years no problem and nothing on our account has changed.

I am in Canada and have been getting mine. We usually get two (we bought direct & resale - sale resort & UY) but this time we only got one. Glad they are finally saving some paper. Thank you very much for the offer!! I was finally able to print it up. Just not the same as a real copy but i guess it will have to do.
